Exactly. Put it this way. If a 1st for DK gets us our qbotf either this year or next, which is more important? A good wideout or a [hopefully] franchise qb?
Then we should have don’t it last year. Any of the top 6 are better than any qb this year

They offered a second and third for Ayuik. The niners decided to pay him instead. That's a really solid offer and hardly a lowball offer.
I was under the impression they had only offered a third. I just looked it up; that is what was reported by, ironically, the same person reporting that we're looking for a first and a third for DK, but SI says it was a second and a third. I'm wondering if it was initially a third, but maybe Lynch talked them up. Regardless, I feel like that front office has been hesitant to offer high picks in trades on principle, but maybe the pressure from their late-season collapse will compel them to be more aggressive this off-season.

Will be very interesting to see how he does on a different team, with a real QB, a good OL or.........wait for it..........who actually use him correctly.
We can probably narrow it down to those teams. It’s pretty simple. A good OL is like 10 teams max. 10 are like serviceable. 12 are considered “bad.”

Out of those “good” OL teams which ones are likely/want an offense that is a “pass” based offense??

You can filter it down to that.

Buffalo seems like one of the few that meets these criterias.

I really doubt Green Bay is a destination for DK, since GB does NOT pay receivers, like at all.

I think all NFL teams recognize DK's dominant field influence.

The same can not be said for all fans.
I agree with that, but that doesn't mean they'll just capitulate on whatever trade demands the Seahawks have either. Even dominant players hit a point of diminishing returns. With their finite resources, every team is going to have a cost where they bow out. While I personally believe he's worth what we're asking, I'm skeptical of how close to that whichever team is left after the rest bow out will get.

No doubt. It's not just what they give up, he's gonna' want a huge contract. No different than any other WR.
I'll be pulling for him wherever he goes. He's a good dude. Maybe fans will actually appreciate him at his new spot.

The problem with that is teams were less willing to pay that much for DK last year. Good top-heavy draft. A lot of good receivers last year in the draft. Very solid QB's and the demand to meet that. The market wasn't right last year. This year it's not a top-heavy draft so picks won't be valued as highly as last year. Not a great market if you need a WR. There are a lot of teams this year desperately needing WR and extremely slim pickings. I get your point, but the return would have made fans lose their minds.

I’m still hoping to the raiders for a 2nd this year and 1st next year. Come on Pete you can do it. He probably doesn’t value his picks as much this year because he doesn’t have his scouts in place and wasn’t able to properly evaluate the talent coming out this year.

If the Seahawks get a first or even a first plus I believe the first overall pick could be in play.
We could offer Geno plus 2 firsts and they have already said they want to trade out.
What are people's thoughts on Cam Ward? It was reported that teams absolutely loved his interviews at the combine.
Absolutely not

Your OSO hatred of anything Michigan is clouding your judgement
I actually don't hate Michigan that much and get ridiculed on Buckeye boards for it. I do hate Harbaugh though. I cannot escape that whiner douche. He goes from coaching our biggest division rival to coaching my favorite college team's famous rival, and as soon as he finally moves on from that, we hire one of his own to crappily run out special teams.

I am hoping for more but i'll say a 1st and a 4th gets it done. Why? Because #14.

I know the Chargers really tried hard to get him last year and he would open things up for McConkey. I hope we get picks only, no players in return. I think there is about to be a bidding war because guys like DK in his prime don't become available ever. I'm shooting for 2 1st's here from my recliner and work chair.
I agree with draft picks only. How desperate will a team get, as a fan base nobody thought we would get what Schnieder got for Russell Wilson

And that was WITH RW picking his destination, basically forced where he got traded to.

Plus George Pickins is in the last year of his contract and has been a head ache as well. They may want to move on like they have done in the past.
I think Steelers could be strong players in this. The market is right to get a good return.

The Raiders and Chargers are #2 and #3 in cap space. Watching Schneider play two AFC teams for DK's contract rights could get interesting if it unfolds publicly.

Yep. We probably will never know what truly was offered by Philly and Chicago for Russ. No matter what, we fleeced Denver.

Don't remind me. We'd be sitting pretty had Russell let us trade him to the Eagles.

You have more leverage when it's a QB though. Receivers are a harder sell to get an overpay.

On PFT Florio did bring up what Cesario did when they were trading Deshaun Watson they let it known what the competition would be and let the teams that were interested they could talk and negotiate on their own
