If the Seahawks get a first or even a first plus I believe the first overall pick could be in play.
We could offer Geno plus 2 firsts and they have already said they want to trade out.
What are people's thoughts on Cam Ward? It was reported that teams absolutely loved his interviews at the combine.
Exactly. Put it this way. If a 1st for DK gets us our qbotf either this year or next, which is more important? A good wideout or a [hopefully] franchise qb?

Hard to imagine thinking this organization has anything but the utmost respect for TL. Sometimes things are just what they seem.
I’m sure they do. As they should.

Why are they mad at DK for releasing his trade demand statement on the same day?

Negotiation tactic? Nothing really new in the NFL. Aiyuk demanded a trade last year, new deal. Stafford asked to be traded last week, new deal coming.

Whatever we get for DK, provided the trade happens, needs to be invested in the trenches OR the best player available. It's not sexy, but that's how foundations are built.

Raiders, Patriots, Chargers, and Steelers, all have a big need and the cap room to make a trade happen.
I truly believe this is going to happen and not for the peanuts some have been throwing around.
The Steelers have been seemingly linked to every big name wideout who has become available in the past year and have played low-ball every time, so I wouldn't expect much there. The Patriots and Raiders draft too high to realistically expect a first rounder, so we'd have to come off that a little. The Chargers could be a sweet spot. Hopefully we could get Schneider the Russell Wilson trade negotiator rather than the Jamal Adams trade negotiator.

Free agency seems to have a lot more quantity than quality in the trenches this year. I don't know that just indiscriminately throwing money at it is going to lead to the improvements we need. It's replete with hopeful upgrades, but not obvious ones.

Joey Galloway was traded to the Cowboys for 1st round picks in 2000 & 2001. The Seahawks used those picks to select Shaun Alexander and Koren Robinson.

The Chargers would indeed be a sweet landing for DK. That would reunite Dk with Sanjay Lal.

Disclosure: I think most highly of wide receiver coach Sanjay Lal.

They offered a second and third for Ayuik. The niners decided to pay him instead. That's a really solid offer and hardly a lowball offer.

Twitter today said the price is a 1st and a 3rd and teams are interested.
I'd pull the trigger immediately on that. Love DK, but we're talking about a third contract for a receiver dependent on athleticism. Injuries and regression start to become more likely.

I think this is going to drag out. We aren't going to get an offer that moves the needle and DK isn't going to budge without a good extension.

Feels to me, given the market, that we're not going to get more than a second even with a pretty weak class overall. But who knows?

2026 draft capital in a trade looking attractive.

Yeah, I’ve seen reports of the Seahawks making this the minimum they want for Metcalf.

Seattle and Schneider playing hardball.

If Schneider pulls off a first and third for Metcalf, it somewhat helps redeeming himself for all the terrible trades he has made before.

Not sure what teams are willing to give a first and third if they are, pull the trigger and move his ass!

DK, is not Ja’Marr Chase, Justin Jefferson, CeeDee Lamb, Amon Ra St. Brown, Malik Nabors.

If Seattle adds a real solid, solid, additional WR2 to pair with JSN and a top flight tight end (Penn State guy) possibly this will moving on from DK on offense may not be bad at all!

I am hoping for more but i'll say a 1st and a 4th gets it done. Why? Because #14.

I know the Chargers really tried hard to get him last year and he would open things up for McConkey. I hope we get picks only, no players in return. I think there is about to be a bidding war because guys like DK in his prime don't become available ever. I'm shooting for 2 1st's here from my recliner and work chair.

I appreciate your positive vibe. But there is negative 200 percent chance they get 2 firsts.

Will be very interesting to see how he does on a different team, with a real QB, a good OL or.........wait for it..........who actually use him correctly.
