1000% this. When I found out Jake The Snake, Roddy Piper and The Road Warriors weren't "real", man, it was a wrap. Stopped watching wrestling COMPLETELY. Still would be dope to meet them in person, though.

I gravitated towards the athletic wrestlers one of my favorites was Jimmy “Superfly” Snuka and was at his best in the cage matches where he would jump on a guy from 15 ft in the air. Later on I became interested in the ECW ( extreme championship wrestling) most people have never heard of any of the wrestlers but there was a lot more tables and chairs it more resembled street fighting than wrestling.
