Yeah, getting Rodney vibes from Munoz lately. Load the bases with no outs, kinda hard to keep the save. 🤷‍♂️

At least Munoz JUST gave up the lead & didn't totally implode. He really sucks bad.

Arozarena saves Munoz in the 10th

Tough game against a good team.

Fernando Rodney - oops Munoz blows the save but gets the win. 🤷‍♂️

Arozarena with a game winning walk off hit in the 10th.

Offense holding up at home tonight. Good start to the series.

Kirby solid thru 5.1 innings. Bullpen good and bad. Brash and Munoz both give up leads. Nice to see Speier back out there.

The D-Backs are a real good-looking club this year. A Hard fought W is huge against them. I thought we had no chance tonight. 2 of 3 would be large!

JP with two homers and the winning run. Guy isn't slashing well outside of tonight but manages to stay relevant.

Clutch.. just not everyday consistent... Maybe a fair trade off? He won't be back next year.. and he will be missed as a long tenured player for sure.

Wouldn't mind having him back as a utility infielder. Reduced salary, of course, but BA aside, he's been a good man to have around.

His BA isn't pretty, but the rest of his numbers are solid to good. His on base, slug, and OPS are quite a bit better than Naylor and Young, and as is always the case with JP, his on base % is one of the best on the team. I also think it's worth noting that he's 3rd on the team in HR's so far, behind only Julio and Raley.

People need to learn to look a little deeper than just batting average, imo.

Thus the part of my post where I said "stay relevant".

I guess it was more the part where you said he wasn't slashing well that prompted my response, because outside of his BA, the rest of his slash line is actually pretty good.
