No, we're talking about Baldwin doing what Baldwin did his rookie season and the games he did play in last year.

I was probably a little too aggressive with my stance and people are proving me wrong now but I guess it just boils down to I see him as low on the depth chart by the end of the year because of the talent we have at wide receiver. He is good, just IMO we have 3 better receivers in front of him.

Nobody is going to catch consistent balls in this offense.
Tate, Rice, and Baldwin will all have big weeks at some point depending on match ups.
Thank you Kearse, for bringin' down that ball in crunch time.

I don't agree, Baldwin came back in a scramble pattern and Wilson saw him, it appears Wilson threw to a spot on the sidelines and Baldwin ran to that spot, Baldwin also had to make sure he kept feet down and had control.

That all requires awareness and acting on that and reading the situation, thats being a smart player as well as talented and one that has awareness.

And Sydney Rice, Golden Tate, Jermaine Kearse have never done that and don't have those aspects? Youre talking about a sample size of one game.

I'm saying that receivers that do that are looked at and become check down guys because the QB trusts them to do whats needed, Tate can make plays but I don't think his game is intuitive, Rice is savvy enough but he should be he is suppose to be a number 1, Kearse I think is to raw and is still learning how to be a NFL receiver, his intincts were always go deep from all I have seen.
I'm pretty sure if it was his "instincts" making him go deep instead of that being the route he was supposed to run... he would have been cut a long time ago.
Watching him at the UW he was the go to guy and when ever Locker was in trouble he seemed to continue down field, I don't know if he was ever coached to run scramble comeback patterns.

He's been on the seahawks team for 2 years and had Russell Wilson for QB for both. I guarantee you he has been coached on scramble comeback patterns.

Thats right.

Bevell has consistently stated that he will take what the defense gives. And because of that, different receivers will show up with big games thru out the season. Tonight was Doug Baldwins turn. Celebrating his success is not an over reaction. It's something to be enjoyed. There is a good chance we will be celebrating the game of a different receiver next week.

Whatever, you win, Baldwin is just a guy here's your sign.

I'm not sure when "IMO Baldwin is a good receiver who has 3 better receivers in front of him" became "I HATE DOUG BALDWIN."
Especially when I start out the post saying "He undoubtedly had a good game..."

Not arguing your point, but I would personally say (excluding Harvin) we have 2 WRs better than Baldwin, and 1 of those WRs, if not both, might be gone this time next year.

I won't be holding my breath waiting for a healthy *Harvin (oxymoron), either. So going into next year, Baldwin could possibly be the best receiver on our roster.

*While I Love the concept of Percy Harvin on this team, I'd sooner trade his ass, resign Tate and Browner (restructure Rice) and still have picks and money left to solidify the O-line. YMMV.

I hate that we traded for harvin in the first place *so far*. Maybe he will prove his worth without a doubt, I hope so but idk. Your right more than likely Rice is gone.
