Would anyone dare say this is the best case scenario for whom to play this season for the Superbowl...I mean, I think if Denver had not lost their QB, I think that may have been a tougher fight.

Also through another lens, if Denver snuck by the Patriots via some snow game weirdness, we always get tagged with an asterisk beating Stidham. And we already beat Denver in the SB. Beating the Patriots will be cathartic. Everything just lines up so well.

There's quite a few folks who are taking their cues from the Rams games and assuming we have no defense.

I can't quiiiite blame them, but they gotta take into account that those were division games and anything can happen.
McVay always has our number too. It doesn’t matter how good, or how bad the Rams are, they always take us to the wire.

No team has been able to crack this defense like McVay and Stafford.

Drake Maye is good, but he played the easiest schedule in the league. The Rams are the better team between the Pats and Rams.

He's a Broncos fan.
I hope they enjoyed their time in the sun this season. Fluke that it was.

Next seasons first place schedule will be murder for them.

9 or 10 wins max next season and I HOPE they sign Bo Nix to a big fat long term contract that will ensure that they will be mired in mediocrity for many years to come!

They said that entering this season..

OUR HIGHEST PAID player is still Russel Wilson

This was the last year of ME3's contract, so we wont have to pay him anymore

We have no real tight end

Our best receiver is inconsistent

The Broncos had the softest exit in the playoffs. Bo getting his ankle broke was out of our control

Maybe we could have won with Stidham. The defense did their part. Even if we got to the Superbowl, Its highly unlikely we would have beat the seahawks with stidham at qb

Broncos were always playing with haus money this year. No one expected them to get the #1 seed in the AFC or go to the AFC championship

Enjoy your time! Going to the superbowl and winning it is always fun

SeaHawks looked like the 300 spartans in the post season

I think Patriots lose by 20.

Too funny. Did they even WATCH the championship games?

Drake Maye (AFC Champ): 86 passing yards. 0 Passing TDs. Carried by his defense and the weather.

Sam Darnold (NFC Champ): 346 yards, 3 TDs, clutch win against a division rival.

Lol. Pats fan thinks beating the Broncos in a snowstorm makes them "Vastly Superior"

Let them be overconfident. It worked out real well for the Broncos.

But get ready for 2 weeks FULL of this dreck.......
The Bronco's coach was so boneheaded, he passed up a sure FG early, and lost by 3 in a snowstorm where points are hard to come by. What franchise doesn't have a solid backup on board? The Broncos. New England is not peaking by my estimation, they are cruising which in the NFL means, set up to lose. In my estimation, the Hawks are peaking, they haven't even put in a great game since SF. GO HAWKS.... 35-13..

There is a reason the commentators were gushing about Stafford before the game.

We got good pressure in the beginning, moved their line backwards yet he still got the ball out of there fast and accurately.

NE's offense will not hold up like Rams and Stafford. 5 sacks, 2 picks, 1 fumble for Seattle's Defense

There's going to be a lot of bone-headed chatter and attempts to pave over the fact that we're simply the better team and this would be an upset if we lost, and I don't see that happening.

The rams have the best offense in the nfl, they know how to play us, and this was their third and best attempt. No one in the nfl had as much strategic knowledge of how to play us as mcvay did and he’s the best.
Also 350ish yards is not a lot for Matt Stafford. The Super Bowl will look much more like the niners game than the rams game

Josh McDaniel is not Sean McVay, Drake Maye is not Matthew Stafford, Stefon Diggs is not Puka Nacua, their OL & DL is not the Rams' OL & DL, etc...

They got Milton Williams & Christian Gonzales, outside of those 2, I don't think I could name another defender on that team.

That being said, they still need to be respected, but NE hasn't been battle-tested like Seattle has. Seattle will be the toughest opponent they've faced all year.
New England is gonna try to run it. Stevenson is a stud. Drake maye is probably gonna run too. I think their defense is their strength and Vrabel is like a slightly more peaceful version of Dan Campbell rah rah not xoxo

Choosing to not kick the field goal was dumb but thats not the only reason we lost

Even if we were up 10-0 it just changes how the rest of the game is played

stidham had some great passes to our recievers but said receivers kept dropping the ball

stidham also threw some horrid passes as well

the snow came in, and all the sudden the Broncos couldnt run the ball anymore. The Pats could run the ball in the snow

It would be cathartic because of two things :

1.) The last time the teams faced off against each other in the SB

and

2.) Sam Darnold beating the Patriots to officially close the "I see ghosts" chapter of his career that began 6 years ago against that team on MNF.

Patriots fans are funny. All over the net right now, they are talking about how bad our defense played and how well their defense is playing. Just a cursory glance at what the two teams have faced makes them a joke.

First it was perennial choke artist Justin Herbert at QB with a Swiss cheese offensive line due to injuries with an aged and slowed by injury Keenan Allen, with a middling second receiver in Ladd McConkey. Who had a middling sixth round running back as their primary runner with a rookie who had a middling season. Way to go slowing down that offense!

Their second game was against the Texans with CJ Stroud having literally the worst playoffs I have ever seen. In his first game, he fumbled five times. He was extremely lucky to only lose two of them. He also threw one interception. He followed that up against the Patriots with four interceptions. Once again, the Patriots benefitted greatly from O-line injuries as both tackles for the Texans either didn't start the game or were injured in the game. The running game for the Texans was not all that good with old and slow Nick Chubb being their most effective back, but he was only given four carries as Woody Marks, their younger back was allowed to fail fourteen times for just seventeen yards. They really only had one very good receiver in Nico Collins who did not play due to concussion and his good TE Dalton Schultz was injured in the first quarter. Way to go slowing down that offense!

Then the conference championship the Patriots get to face a career backup QB who has a really good arm, but does not do well processing coverages and struggles with pressure. The Broncos main reason for making it as far as they did was the starting QB leading eight fourth quarter comebacks during the 2025 season. Now, taking him out of the equation, what could a backup do to win that game? Then factor in the Broncos have one very good back in JK Dobbins and one actual threat as a receiver in Courtland Sutton. Then add in the snow which basically ended offense for the last third of the game. Seems like the Patriots had an easy time of it. Way to go slowing down that offense!

So, the Seahawks trip to the big game looks like this, game one the Seahawks had to face both of our division opponents featuring a QB that has taken his team to the conference championship twice resulting in one Super Bowl appearance (may have been two if he had been healthy for his first conference championship). He also had his first team All Pro running back perfectly healthy in that game. Their receiving options were limited, but Shanahan is known for getting his receives separation through scheme and not really their physical superiority. All the Seahawks did was shut them completely down, with them scoring just six points.

Game two, the Seahawks face what literally every person who knows football considers to be the best offensive mind of this decade in Sean McVay, who will be a hall of fame coach, as their play caller. There are so many teams who have taken things that McVay has done and based their offense on his teachings, it isn't even funny. Their QB is a future hall of famer (possibly first ballot) in should be MVP Matthew Stafford. Who was throwing to future first ballot hall of famer Davante Adams who lead the league for the third time in receiving touchdowns. And future hall of famer if his career stays on it's current trajectory, Puca Nacua. No matter how much I do not like him, he is a fantastic receiver. Plus, the Rams running back Kyren Williams was the most productive runner of all the backs mentioned thus far with more yards than McCaffrey and the same amount of touchdowns with fifty-two less attempts. Then factor in the fact that their TE Colby Parkinson was third in touchdowns by a TE in 2025.

Of course, the game will be played in two weeks. We shall see how all of these things add up on the field. A lot will be made about this being a rematch and I really wish there was no connection, but the fact is that the previous Super Bowl turned on a dirty play by the Patriots that took out our best pass rusher with a concussion giving Brady more time. Hopefully this Patriots iteration won't take the cheap shot direction.

Good stuff. Anyone who thinks the #1 defense isn't that good clearly knows nothing about the Hawks.

Delusional is the best word for that. Stafford's the MVP, Nacua is right there with JSN, McVay knows this team, its divisional craziness, and so on. It's just not comparable at all. It reads like it's coming from a fan that only watches Patriot games, really.
We couldn’t put any pressure on Stafford because ball was coming out so quick and McVay was a master at getting guys in right spot. Stafford is a vet who was able to get rid of the ball. Maye has some wheels but he is a 2nd year player. We saw how he struggled with the broncos defense and weather conditions. I think the pressure gets dialed up until Maye proves he can beat it. He will have some chances for big plays or mistakes. Not exactly trusting him to avoid mistakes with pressure like I would trust Stafford or for Vrabel/McDaniels to design plays to beat the disguising defenses

Eh, not as much fun waiting for the championship game if you think your team has no chance. We'd be doing the same thing if the turntables were turned.

We're going to be repeatedly glazed in the media for two weeks. I would hope we're well coached enough for the team to not fall into the trap of thinking this is going to be easy. They wouldn't be the first to become victims of their own hype. Keep in mind, the underdog has won four of the past five Super Bowls.
