They said that entering this season..

OUR HIGHEST PAID player is still Russel Wilson

This was the last year of ME3's contract, so we wont have to pay him anymore

We have no real tight end

Our best receiver is inconsistent

The Broncos had the softest exit in the playoffs. Bo getting his ankle broke was out of our control

Maybe we could have won with Stidham. The defense did their part. Even if we got to the Superbowl, Its highly unlikely we would have beat the seahawks with stidham at qb

Broncos were always playing with haus money this year. No one expected them to get the #1 seed in the AFC or go to the AFC championship

Enjoy your time! Going to the superbowl and winning it is always fun

SeaHawks looked like the 300 spartans in the post season

I think Patriots lose by 20.
I thought their best receiver was the ground????

Patriot fans know Kraft, Goodell and Trump are in their secret lair trying to figure out how to have the Patriots win for the 250th birthday of America. ...conspiracy theorists run with that one....

They're two teams that have gotten REALLY hot since December started, so...anything's possible. On paper, we're undoubtedly the better team.

I think you all need to take the Patriots more seriously. Granted I think we win it and probably control most of the game, but I don't think it will be easy by any means. They have a serious defense, and I don't think Sam has ever had a big game problem, but he, like any QB has bad games on occasion. While I expect to win, I think they will put up a great fight for at least half of the game. I just hope it only the first half.

If Sam has a bad game against the Pats (especially a Non-Belichek-led one), that would hurt my soul.

This game is the game for Sam to play well and slam the book shut on the "I see ghosts" nonsense that's been a thing for over 6 years.

I refuse to even acknowledge the possibility of the former occurring.

After finally establishing that he is HIM, there is no f'n way that he won't come out in 2 weeks and help put belt-to-ass on the Patsies. 😤💪

I agree that the upcoming SB game could be a life changer for Darnold. If we can win it his name will go down in history, not just for the Seahawks but also as a QB.

'Cause as always is the case :

People only remember the SB winner.

Not the loser.

I personally expect this game to be much closer than some here seem to think.
Patriots have gotten much better over the year and if Maye plays well we could be in trouble.
I expect a low scoring defensive battle. I also do not think we will be able to run on them effectively. Nor do I think they will be able to run on us.
It comes down to the QB's and how they play in my mind.

I personally expect the complete opposite.

MM's defense will be looking to bounce-back from getting over 400 yards of total offense dropped on them.

Sam Darnold will not have to contend with Shula's "Tricky" defense in this game so he can "let it rip"

And no one on earth can guard JSN.

This game will be over by either the end of the 2nd or the middle of the 3rd quarter.

There are levels to this and the Pats (as well as the entire AFC) aren't in any way, shape, or form....on the Seahawks level.

And we're going to witness that first-hand in two weeks.

GO HAWKS!

Oh please....what is Maye going to do? Play like Matt Stafford?

The chances of THAT happening are equal to the chances any one of us wins the PowerBall Jackpot.

It's NOT happening.

Drake is going to get CRUSHED in this game against a Defense that is looking to return the favor for their QB picking them up in the previous game.

There's quite a few folks who are taking their cues from the Rams games and assuming we have no defense.

I can't quiiiite blame them, but they gotta take into account that those were division games and anything can happen.
That is a really peculiar point- i watched some of the falcons and panthers games vs the Rams and how in the hell can you tell me that is the same Rams offense that played us?

Like alternate dimension stuff.

If we can get pressure I agree. If not we could definitely give up some big plays. In a low scoring game that could be the difference.

It's just what happens with division rivalries. Teams are working far harder to counter their division opponents than they are other teams, and vice versa.

Just a dirty, not-so-well-kept little secret of the NFL. There are absolutely games that teams get caught "looking past".

Maye has a good deep ball AND he can run the ball. He's not in the MVP convo for no reason.
