I don't think they appreciate the level of difficulty in this team beating the Rams twice in a row with everything on the line. The Rams team we faced yesterday isn't really the same as the one that squeaked by the Panthers and Bears. Divisional games are just different, particularly between these two teams. It's like the equivalent of "1.5 wins" in terms of what it really means and what it takes.

Division rivals…we just beat two of them in a row. Thats incredibly hard to do.

As much as I hate saying this, the Rams are a very good team. It’s still fck ‘em as a staff, record label and a muthafckn crew but…they’re a very good team.

The best football always happens within divisions. Take a division like the AFC North. Steelers had the best shot and everyone knew that wasn’t happening…but watch a Cincy vs Browns game…Ravens vs Pitt…you will see some of the absolute hardest hits…driven by rivalry.

No different for the best division in football.

I know the media has to keep it interesting. We opened at -4.5 which is just barely more than a FG. Right…

We’re about to smack the Pats so hard that Brady’s going to feel it.

Josh McDaniel is not Sean McVay, Drake Maye is not Matthew Stafford, Stefon Diggs is not Puka Nacua, their OL & DL is not the Rams' OL & DL, etc...

They got Milton Williams & Christian Gonzales, outside of those 2, I don't think I could name another defender on that team.

That being said, they still need to be respected, but NE hasn't been battle-tested like Seattle has. Seattle will be the toughest opponent they've faced all year.

They have a damn good D Line however the rest is accurate. Maye is an MVP candidate for a reason, dude can ball.

This from Patriots forum. Delusional. Have the even watched football? Vastly superior?

Super Bowl 49 rematch.

I feel more confident about this game than the Broncos game to be honest.

Seahawks have a good all around defense, but Rams put up over 100 yards on the ground, and Stafford had damn near 400 yards passing.

Granted Pats offense isn't nearly as explosive as the Rams it's a good sign the ball can be moved up and down against the Seahawks.

I'm confident Josh will scheme up a tight gameplan against the Seahawks.

Match up-wise I don't know how well the teams do, but I consider Pats defense vastly superior to the Seahawks.

Also I'd say Maye is far and away more talented than Darnold although SB jitters can affect both players.

Darnold has improved quite a bit after struggling in big moments, but will he step up in the biggest moment of them all? He definitely has the weapons, but that remains to be seen.
I really hope the pats players are feeling this way. I really really hope they believe this right before they walk into the buzz saw.

Thankfully, the Seahawks players and coaching staff will not head into this game discounting the Patriots like the media and overall football fanbase is. This Patriots team against all odds has made it to the SB, sure they have been fortunate in a lot of ways, but I'm not gonna fault their fans for believing in their team.

From a yardage standpoint the Patriots defense has outperformed the Seahawks defense in the playoffs. That being said quality of opponents were vastly different. Hopefully no one on the Patriots offense is capable of replicating McVays success against the Seahawks.
We as fans are free to do all the "discounting" we want so long as our actual team doesn't.

Pats don’t beat the Broncos if Bo doesn’t get hurt so In a way they have been blessed into this superbowl due to circumstance. Similar to when we played SanFran in the NFC championship & went on to “dog-walk” the Broncos , the true Super Bowl was our NFC championship game. I think the same can be said for our situation this year, it’s my opinion that the Rams and the Broncos were the scariest teams aside from ourselves in the playoffs this year and we now don’t have to worry about either of them. Patriots receiving core is it no better than the 49ers was and you guys seen what happened there lol Broncos were able to get after Drake Maye and sack him five times I think we are gonna be mayhem in their backfield. I think though Drake is a stud The pressure is gonna be very high and he’s gonna make some mistakes. I don’t see us having a problem stopping the Patriots run game. I see the Patriots having a little bit of success with Maye scrambling on broken up plays but not enough to result in points every drive in the way of touchdowns I don’t see them scoring very many if any at all. This unit is so mentally in sync & they don’t let things get them out of their headspace I think being down by 16 and that last regular season, Rams game shows that even down bad in the fourth quarter these boys are gonna show up and play like their lives are on the line. I feel like the Patriots will be out coached & Kenneth Walker wants the recognition. He feels like he would have if he didn’t have to split the place with Charbs this year, dude has a chip on his shoulder and I think he showed last night he can handle the workload and you know he’s playing to get that maximum value for this off-season! My score prediction is 33-16 Seahawks get retribution baby
