Both just picked the SEAHAWKS to win the SuperB owl on NFL total access. I know I know, but it's so frigging awesome to hear it on TV from non hawk fans.

Evans historically is the most bitter broadcaster on television when it comes to Seattle . . . So that is shocking.

I have the same distain for Evans and Sharper that I have for (the buffoon) Warren Sapp. They all believe they are bigger than the story...yet they manage to keep their positions. Incredible.

I do like the fact Herm and Pierce picked us.

Yeah I wrote on this earlier and then it was deleted. Should've been more specific with what they were referring to. Still can't believe that Evans had anything good to say about us. The guy dogged us all of last year. I do like Sharper tho. He seems to give analysis objectively.

That is some crazy stuff coming from Evans, he has really gone out of his way to show his hatred for the Hawks like he never played here. Sharper? He has seen it coming for a while. He was a DB, so he sees the LOB in admiration.

But lets face it, week by week these pundits mention different teams as SB picks. There is a short list that they all seem to admire. Niners, Hawks, Broncos and Pats all seem to get tossed around.

If the Hawks and Niners weren't in the same division, it would almost seem automatic that they would be the NFCC match up, as it is, it would take some pretty extraordinary stuff for me to think that they both wouldn't be in the playoffs.
I know the Texans are out there, but they just seem to have trouble with the big game. These NFLN guys can make an argument for all 5 of those teams to make it and they do. It was just the Hawks turn this time. Next week, it will be SF or NE.

I like Sharper. Great football player, and I've yet to disagree with his opinion as an analyst, even if he kind of seems like a goober on camera. He's no Tim Ryan or Troy Aikman, but he listens to common sense and seems genuinely bias free, which is actually somewhat uncommon in the sports punditry business.

I don't think Evans is especially deep or insightful, but I don't mind him. I think he's usually pretty fair.

The OP was a clever man, and waited until after Radish's bed time. ;)

This is the deal for me. I live out of market (Texas). I don't get to hear my local media speak about the Seahawks. I get to hear about the cowboys and texans. Yay. I know the Seahawks are getting national attention and are attracting bandwagon fans. Everybody that knows me knows that I'm a Seahawk fan. Even people that don't know me know it, because I sport the hats and tees all year round. It's a HUGE thrill for me to hear it said on TV by non Seahawks fans. " I'm going with the SEAHAWKS to WIN the superbowl". Holy crap, I almost pee'd myself. I'm sorry guys but this is frigging awesome, can't help it.

x2. And it beats the hell out of always being left off of the highlights on the national sports shows.

Let's all hope it isn't a curse of a high injury season. Knock on wood.
