Qb dosent always have time be the MVP of the superbowl. What matters most is when we needed some big time throws he made them. When JSN went down he made plays scrambling and throwing. In the end it was enough to get rhe Hawks their second 2nd superbowl in franchise history. This is awesome!

Lots of pressures. Sam got racked multiple times. I thought he did a good job getting the ball out or there would have been a lot more sacks

Yeah. Someone was concerned about pressure up the middle and stuff.

Sam will be feeling it in the morning but he will have the Lombardi to sleep with (along with his Fiance). 😜

What a backhanded compliment that is.

Anyway, He was off-target today.

BUT he was on-target when he needed to be.

That TD to AJ Barner was very important.

But the main thing is ZERO TURNOVERS.

Meanwhile, Drake MEH with 2.
Pats did have a very good defensive line and their 2ndry played very well. I thought Sam didn't lead the receiver enough or to much which I think was a result of pressure.

You have to judge a performance in context. The Pats defensive deployed a smart scheme against Kubiak's offense and their defense played out of their minds. Given the opportunities he had, Sam Darnold played well. Yes, he missed some throws, but better that he got rid of the ball when he did than risk a strip sack.

Cris Collingsworth kept pointing out how he steered out of trouble and made the tough plays. He took what was given, and didn't force the issue.

Compare it to Drake Maye's 2 interceptions, a fumble and taking 6 sacks. Sam was sacked once. It's a different game if he takes 6 sacks.

Dude was hit on almost every throw. Most guys throw a couple of picks in that situation. They were killing our line and their corners were super sticky. He played a gritty game and did what he needed to.

Y’all going to kill me for this… and I have zero bad things to say about Sammy D.

Milroe - 2027. You’ll see.

If he is paying attention to the lessons that can be learned by what he is watching happen he will learn exactly what he needs to know to be able to make use of his skillset to become a top flight QB.

This. And any turnover could have been game-changing. How did the Pats win their two playoff games? And it was clear from the 1st snap that their plan on D was to force TOs. Sam was remarkably patient and composed and stuck to our plan, where the only way Pats could win this game was generate TOs.

He didn't have a good game. But he stayed out of the way. His best game was two weeks ago.
I mean..... he did have a good game... dude avoided at least 4 sacks... receivers missed a few balls and he missed a lead pass to JSN in the Endzone.

I think he had a great game personally..... incomplete passes do not grade a QBs performance

Remember....he can't win big games 🙄😅😅😅😅
To me personally... all of his sack avoidances... won this game... imagine those 4 attempts he wiggled out of spun out of etc... with negative 5 and 8 yards... vs just a new down... dude handled what he needed to.. no one wanted MVP they wanted a win... Could have honestly given it to a few D people or the whole D... but always knew K9 was getting it
