He doesn't want backup QB money. Which, even putting everything else aside, shows you he over inflates his value as a QB.Why doesn’t he go to the xfl or usfl? He would be a starter and on espn each week for 10
I have speculated that his NFL settlement has a no compete clause with other football leagues. It fits better than other speculations. Why doesn’t he go to the xfl or usfl? He would be a starter and on espn each week for 10

There were professional leagues though. A standard non-compete clause appears in a lot of settlements in sports and entertainment. There wasn’t a usfl or xfl when he settled the lawsuit. I mean, even if there were, imagine the fury the nfl would get for stopping him from playing for the Seattle Sea Dragons or Birmingham Stallions.
If he played in one of those leagues he'd be exposed for being a bad QB. His grift would suffer, so this way he can come relevant for a minute knowing he'll never play another game with the NFL.There wasn’t a usfl or xfl when he settled the lawsuit. Sad part is with Purdy down, he could probably compete for the 49ers starting job.
To bad the 49ers helped black ball him from the league when he opted out of his contract. /sarcasm
