I think what Cowherd really meant was Darnold's ability to quickly settle in, and integrate, and be very effective, this quickly coming into Seattle is what's elite. At least, I think using elite IN THAT CONTEXT about Darnold is accurate. Cowherd also made a point about how Seattle's largely a team with a lot of young players and it's harder to hit the ground running coming into that environment compared to the Vikings situation where he had more veteran players of sustained great caliber.
