Charbs is a fantastic FB. Great as a target in the passing game.

Still shocked at his long run, but nobody said he isn't great as a passing game weapon.

1. Fullbacks aren't just running backs that you think are slow.
2. If you watched him in 2023, you probably shouldn't be "shocked" at his long run. Even a little bit. He had nearly 500 yards last year.

I think Kenny should have gotten the ball. I hope after this game they see that Kenny is a better runner.

I remember last year when ppl wanted him to be RB#1. The irony of fandom. It's like the running back carries the entire load on whether the run game succeeds or doesn't. Fans can be funny.

I do feel they should've split the carries between the two of them, more evenly. To be fair however, NE's run game defense and our ASS oline... wasn't doing any RB any good.

Agreed.

I like Charbonet and think he'd settle in and do a great job even though he has a different skill set than K Walker III. Everything is brand new

Fans are fickle. He provided a real spark against Dallas and started bullying them up the middle. It rallied the offense.

We're too prone here to having our entire view of the team and sport entirely decided by the most recent small sample of play.

I'll go ahead and say it:

Kenny doesn't do shit either behind this line today, and he probably doesn't do what Charbonnet did at the end today.

Denver consistently lost the edge as the game went on. Outside zone was wide open. That just is not happening here at all.

K9 had 103 yards on 20 carries for a 5.2 ypc average last week behind this line against that Denver D.

After K9 left the game, Charbs had 8 carries for 12 yards for a 1.5 ypc average behind this line against that very same Denver D.

K9 absolutely gashed that Denver D in the 2nd half. Charbs was completely ineffective behind the exact same line and against the exact same defense.

I like Charbs catching passes out of the backfield, but K9 is a vastly superior rusher.

Sorry, I should've been more specific. I meant Kenny McIntosh. K9 is indeed a superior rusher overall.

Charbs is great catching passes in the flat. But he is slow to accelerate and runs to darkness. Not a guy you give the ball to shotgun or far off the LOS.

Remember Turbin? Turbin was much better. He's a FB playing RB
Turbin was a freakin' beast of a man and I associate him with a great time in Seahawks lore, but God he was so bad. No way somebody with THAT physique should have been so easy to bring down. He finished his Seattle career with zero rushing TDs and just two carries of more than 20 yards, with a best of 26, which came late in the fourth quarter of a blowout win over the Cards when the score was 51-0.

If running backs were forced to do handstands and run with their arms, he would've been the greatest RB of all time.

He may be, but he has to bring something else as well. He looked good in preseason so he could become the next RB2.
