Behind Elliot, Gurley, Barkley, and Mixon and should have 1151 yards and 9 TDs

He had 1,029 going in to today’s game. With the 122 today, that should put him at 1,151, not 1,051.

He damn near caught Joe Mixon, too...less than 20 yards behind him. Mixon's 51 yard run vs. Pittsburgh this week was the difference.
The Hawks also finished with 1000, 500 (Davis), 400 (Penny) and 300-yard rushers (Wilson). I'm trying to confirm but I believe that's only happened twice before in league history. Were in not for Penny's injury in December, they would have had a 1000 yard rusher as well as TWO 500 yard rushers, which I'm not sure has ever happened in the NFL before (not that it matters since it ultimately didn't happen here either).
Entering this week the Hawks were first in the league in rushing and 4th in passing efficiency, the only team in the league to rank in the top 7 in both categories (let alone the top 4). Not bad for an OC whom everyone panned when he was hired.

You are right. His numbers are close to that running back in Dallas...SlickRick":3qi0b8f2 said:Carson is a stud, for a 7th round pick he's overachieving, looks more like a 1st round pick imo
At least some of that was intentional. They were monitoring his touches because of his injury history. I'm OK with that. We didn't need him as much in Sept/Oct as we do now.TAB420":3nikyhw4 said:You are right. But when you look into Carson's numbers they're even more impressive. Carson missed two games and only had 5 games where he touched the ball 20 or more times. If he would have played in every game and touched the ball between 20-25 times a game. I think the title would have been his. Great season and a bright future.
