If they didn't go for Malik we would have Ramcyzk or Robinson on our right side

Or they might be sucking as much as Ifedi.

This is a great point. If I recall correctly from draft season, many of us didn't want Robinson because his physical profile was similar to Ifedi's and he was thought to be a very similar type of player. I breathed a sigh of relief when we didn't draft him, but that's because I don't know shit about scouting players for the draft and went based on what I had read around Seahawks sites. Robinson was touted as a "Cable guy," so I assumed he would be another Carpenter type.

Turns out, Robinson has been great as a rookie in Jacksonville with his only problem being he's been hurt and missed some time. I wonder if Ifedi would be performing at a similar level in the same spot? Even the "Cable guy" is finding success in the NFL. Just not with Cable.

I think this is over analysis into what he said. Richardson has made some amazing plays since being here, this is just recency bias

My interpretation of his statements is that he thought the D-line and O-line would be far more along with those fixes. Not that they're not great players
Exactly how I took it.
MULTIPLE Injuries have a way of blowing up even the best laid plans.
Both Richardson & Brown are Pro-Bowlers, and BOTH are undeniable upgrades.
Which player X O-Lineman on the team, would be a better option than Brown, and if there is a Player X, why ain't he getting play time over Brown or Ifedi?
Defense= Key Players with injuries.
Can't dump all the D-Line & secondary woes on Richardson....Wagner + Wright injuries?, nuff said.

Anyone else see the desperate denial here with giving the Graham trade a pass for 3 years then Pete calling these 2 trades out? WOW Pete, you are so blind to some things around you sometimes. Graham is making more money that either of these guys too. Which hurts the team more? No line, so leave Graham in to block? Just stupid trades like this so Pete can have his toys that all have flat tires called a B league oline.

Has anyone asked him about the Graham trade in the wake of his worst loss as a Seahawks coach?

He's been asked about Grahams use many times over the last 3 seasons. Or are you implying he will only speak "the truth" (by Pete's standards = throw under the bus) after a bad loss?

Jeezuz Seymour, exaggerate much??...(not a question) :pukeface:

I honestly don't think either of them would be a lock to get at least one 10 to 15 yarder a game.
