Okay, now is where we get into the meat of the discussion. If you want to argue that the team had some uncharacteristic mistakes/gaffes that need to be corrected, then awesome. If you want to talk about how injuries along the O-line have impacted the way the offense is performing, you'll have some valid evidence. If you want to talk about how a slate of strong defenses going against that patchwork O-line have resulted in some tough games for our offense, and how you're concerned about the offensive playcalling maybe failing to address that reality, go for it.
But when you start yapping about "we almost lost at home to Ryan Fitzpatrick," that's when you go overboard and start sounding like the doom-and-gloom guy you were before. Ryan Fitzpatrick didn't do jack against us. The Titans offense didn't do jack. If we HAD lost at home (which, for the record, we TOTALLY DIDN'T), it wouldn't have been "losing to Fitzpatrick."
And you damn well know that. You're just using an inflammatory soundbyte for effect, and it's a load of crap.
