I expect Spoon to get a contract sooner than JSN...only based on recent rumblings that JSN wants to be the highest paid WR. No idea if those carry merit or of it's offseason speculative drama.

I think the bigger question is do you want to let K9 walk considering Charbs is coming off the injury. It'll come down to dollars no doubt and I'm sure they have their limits. But I mean if it's doable there is still a choice.

Well here's the tricky part the Seahawks have dealt themselves... THey have both Charbs and Walker. Charbs contract comes up in a couple of years.. Walkers is now. Are they both #1 RB's? Charbs will think so and will expect #1 rb pay.

Maybe the answer is trade one keep the other.. probably keep K9.

I'm with bobble on this one if his goal is to be the highest paid and we can get good value for him. In this scenario, pick up the 5th year option and continue to negotiate with him. If JS doesn't like where it is going, start entertaining trade offers after the 2026 season (while still negotiating with him.)

Jerry Jones would probably give good value, and JSN grew up a cowboys fan so that would be an everybody is happy scenario.

While Spoon is a top CB, he isn't THE top CB. JSN is in that conversation right now.

Agreed. They'll both want to re-set the market, but at least JSN is at the top of the market.
