Actually, he improved the team rapidly from 5-11 his first full year (2009) to 8-8 in 2010, which was Oakland's first non-losing season since 2002. It was a dumb move at the time to fire him, he had the team on a very nice come-up. Al Davis in the later years was.. well.. Al Davis.
Tom Cable's Raiders absolutely rolled the Seahawks 33-3 that year.

As I recall, the main reason he got fired (besides for Al Davis being Al Davis) was that he punched an assistant coach. Something I wish PC would try from time to time.
Probaly true..He had some of best years being a QB there..The fans would love ithawkfan68":2p84p5q1 said:Rumor I heard this morning on the radio (ESPN) is that Colts have reached out to Jim Harbaugh. If it's true (and JH is interested) then I don't like Cable's chances to get that gig.
THAT'S what I'm talking about! :irishdrinkers:Rocket":1fz5ofn6 said:A sweet dream - Cable goes, takes Bev with him.
