I absolutely loved Holmgren as a coach here. He was one of the greatest coaches we've had. But...

Absolutely the only reason we'd ever want him associated with this team is if he was in on drafting the offensive line. And even then it's a big maybe. Unless you want that magnificent scramble Wilson did on 4th and 4 to gain a first down to turn into an automatic fullback draw up the middle for 3 1/2 yards...

Big names don't solve anything and thats all that Holmgren is right now look how he did with the Browns his time has past. The Offensive line is Banged up and it all starts in the trenches especially for our team the rookie will develop and the line will get better.

Tom Cable does a damn good job with the line bringing in anyone to consult would be total disrespect to him.

I could live without Holmgren again, he does though need to raise the 12th man flag.

I loved Holmgren but the downside of this move FAR outweighs the upside in my opinion. No thank you.

Holmgren's current role as radio personality and informed outside observer is perfect for him right now. Still "associated" with the team, but not really involved.

People really need to learn what consultants are, at the very most they provide advice. Holmgren has worked with JS, how bad could it possibly be.
