Another example of selective reading.
I'd say selective perception on your part's more likely, but hey, that's just my opinion and I do realize it could be wrong.
........but you are not wrong. The other guy is. 8)

Why? It's the truth, I challenge any of you to prove differently.

1. Belicheat is a confirmed liar of the first order.
2. Tommay is a cheater on a significant level.
3. Aaron Hernandez....enough said.

It is the truth, and it is funny, but AH did kill someone, unless you are a pats fan, who thinks he was framed. 8)

Well, I didn't go into the Aaron Hernandez situation given it's a complete tragedy from every possible angle I can think of. And in no way funny. Just fact, correct?

Patriots fan or not in my opinion.

Though I love that moniker for Brady it's totally South Park like Kenny and Timmay just like he deserves. 8)

I'm very much bored of the whole Deflategate thing in honesty so haven't been keeping up with all the articles.

From what I read, though, Isn't Brady's punishment being announced this week? There seems to be a lot of talk of hefty bans? That'll put the Colts on a direct train to SB50 I'd imagine.

If PEDs get an automatic 4 game suspension, I don't see how Brady gets any less than that. I don't know how much he should get, but it seems to me there's a pretty well established minimum of 4 games and any less than that is a joke.

Absolutely agree about Belichick. I don't see how Payton gets suspended for a whole year and Bill gets off Scot free. I think it may well happen, but it would be really crappy if it did.

There is a 0% chance Belichick gets suspended. The report did not implicate him, as there was no evidence tying him to the conspiracy. The text messages suggest Brady was trading signed memorabilia in exchange for deflated balls; they did not mention Belichick.

Payton was not implicated in the Bountygate scandal either, but as Goodell said "Ignorance is not an excuse".

True but Payton was directly implicated by some evidence in the bounty scandal. For example, Payton received an email from Ornstein detailing the bounty scheme, including Ornstein's offer of $5,000 to anyone who knocked Aaron Rodgers out of the 2011 season opener. Payton initially denied knowing that this email existed during the league's investigation, but subsequently admitted that he had read it.

This report specifically says they have no evidence tying Belichick to the deflate scandal.

Again, Tressell received an email detailing his players' tattoos-and-cash-for-autographs scheme and did nothing to report it to the NCAA.

If plausible deniability didn't work for Payton, why does it work for Belichick?

If this was a corporation that just got busted, lack of institutional control over your employees is certainly a legal reason to suspend, fire and fine managers. It's why Payton got suspended, not knowing when your players are breaking the rules is not a valid excuse.

Maybe the seriousness, or lack thereof compared to paying players to hurt other players spares Belichick.........but idk, seems like Goodell would want to be consistent.

The two picks are a 2016 1st and 2017 4th.

Light but not surprising. Pats will continue to cheat just as they always have.

I'm ok with this, seems fair and substantial enough to maybe deter the Patriots from being the sleezy tip toe across the line organization that they are.
