Well, I'm confused. Between this, Person, and MRob, I'm pretty sure the FO is just messing with us.

Good point. I think bringing in two separate Fells was a work too.

That would be awesome. Just think of the .com video interviews we'd get!

Or the trickery! They could switch jersey's on the sideline. The defense would be confused because you have gameplan differently in that instance. Different first names ALWAYS means different routes.

Man I am very confused by this move. Who the heck is the backup to Bobby now? Person or Lotoleli should have been the ones to go.

Right...we better not say anything not agreeing with the FO's every move

The amount of turnover in the NFL (and PCJS in particular) is incredible. Obviously this is due to non-guaranteed contracts, higher risk of injury, and an overall shorter playing span, but it's still pretty crazy. Was thinking about what Seahawks jersey to get that I'd be able to keep for a few years. It's incredible how few guys are likely to be here in only 3-4 yrs from now. Russell, BWags, Okung, Unger, and one of either ET or Sherm is probably about it. There's 5-10 other guys that will likely be here a well but definitely no locks at all. With a 53 man roster that's very little, considering an NBA roster of 12 guys would arguably have more players around 3-4 yrs down the road. The lesson is definitely to not get too attached to anybody, because almost anybody can be gone in a blink of an eye

These two moves have now ballanced the rosters.

There are now 25 players on the offensive roster.

There are now 25 players on the defensive roster.

I can't explain Lotulelei (or however you spell it) over Bradford, but for Person's continued presence blame Carpenter. I think they are desperate to see what they have witb Carpenter - which is why he was out there on one leg on Sunday - but do not trust him to be healthy. If he stays gimpy through the early part of the season then they will probably say he has had a complication from his injury and IR him. That's why they kept Bailey, Bowie and Person - as Carpenter insurance. Some form of continuity is vital on OL but you can almost plug in and play a LB.

No it's just ridiculous that so many are spazzing over a career backup LBer. He was at best our #7 LB, Not exactly a earthshattering move. What because he made a few plays against garbage players in the preseason he is someone this budding star. I don't get all the outrage.

Always amazes me how much hand wringing we always do over the 50-55th guys on the roster.

Cuz Mike Person shouldn't even be in the league, J!

Depends who that guy is.

I think we've made a few Michael Bennett in 2009 type mistakes in the last few weeks. But Bennett got picked up and made the most of his opportunity. I'm curious to see what happens with Howard and Bradford. Brooks too, if another team ends up signing him off our PS.

Hated the M-Rob decision too, though Coleman made me hate it a lot, lot less after his week 1 performance.

Career backup LBer? Dude was a converted RB that was just starting to show signs of playmaking ability. Believe it or not, not every starter in the league comes in blazing. Some actually need to be developed. And also part of the reason many are questioning this move is that Lotulelei, an inferior talent and others such as Morgan and Person are still on the 53

I believe Brooks was cut from PS today.
