Ya...expected.

Likely timeline is on PUP those first 6 weeks but also miss Denver in week 7 and Week 8 is the bye.

First game back would be Rams at home in week 9...barring setbacks of course.

There is an outside chance he could start the season, but my bet is that the 49ers won't take any chances with him and won't rush it.

That was such a nasty injury. Amazing that these guys can come back so quickly. Coming back in 9-10 months is really impressive.

To be honest I was relieved when I heard it was an ACL and MCL. I thought it could have been much worse.

It was pretty gruesome.

It was. Wasn't it Reid that came flying in? Just one of those things that you hate to see happen.

Still grosses me out thinking about how many times Fox showed the injury over and over and over and over again, once was enough............Hope he heals up, he is a hell of a player!

The problem was that they had to show the play because it was a key play in the game. People wanted to see which team deserved to recover the fumble. I know what you mean though, but I don't think that was their intention.

They can be 100% healthy and you'll still hear excuses.......

They're still making excuses that Crabtree wasn't 100% in the NFCC game even though we were without Rice or Harvin.

There is no pride in that fan base. It's all excuses and denial. There's a reason they are known around the globe as whiners. Their famous for it.

Yet on the webzone it is still a Seahawks fault. according to them we are cheap shot artists who go to any length to injure their players. According to the webzone a Seahawk pushed Ried into Bowman, apparently with intent to kill.

pretty much.

its all hasselbecks fault. exactly at 9:14 into the 4th you can see him grab the ref and give him a fresh-prince-of-bel-air style handshake.

makes me sick to my stomach. i hate you hasselbeck.

Don't forget that EVERY SINGLE SEAHAWKS FAN in the entire stadium threw popcorn on him as he was being carted off. It absolutely was not just one classless jerk, no matter what the video evidence shows.

The funny thing is that they STILL talk about that shit as if it was legit. Just the essence of the DenialZone.

But .net is just like them... yep.

Bowman is a fantastic player, deserving of a long career. That injury sucks for him and I truly hope he comes back 100%.

I've read it more than once about the push into Bowman but I have read it 100's of times that Seahawk players are cheap shot artists and are always going for the injury shot or we are trying to take out knees on and on but they always seem to miss Boldin slamming DB's to the ground after the play and guys like Whitner holding up a receiver so another DB could take a cheap shot on him. You know, true cheap shots.

It is a stupid mentality. Do teams do it? I'm sure it happens but anyone with an ounce of intelligence knows that is not anything like the Seahawks. I just think it makes them look stupid when they come up with an injury theory every time one of they're players gets hurt against us. You would think for a fan base that claims to have been around for the 5 previous trophies and through a large era where the Niners were known for smash mouth football that this is not a delicate game. Players get hurt.

Ya keep telling yourself that. There is plenty of pride in the fan base. Many many fans give credit to the hawks. You just choose to be deaf or blind to pay attention. And once again you lump a entire fan base into some message board comments. Because only real fans post to message boards. How classless and low to attack an entire fan base. I am one of the many that gave the hawks credit non stop.

Your right rl, unfortunately good folks sometimes get over shadowed but for the most part what you said is absolutely correct. My apologies to you and fans like you.
