Some 9ers fans are still upset that a Hawks fan once dumped popcorn on Bow while he was being carted off. Some Hawks fans are still upset that Kap once went to the locker room without shaking hands. Some people really need to get over some things.
I wouldn't call it "upset" over not shaking hands Popeye, I actually find it to be comical in that he ran off the field as the clock winded down. It was clearly a moment that occurred and displayed a lack of integrity. Especially for a QB. Others ran off the field too, but they aren't considered team leaders. We are talking child-like behavior. K- choke amplified this immaturity in his ESPN commentary. This is fact.
It doesn't really get brought up unless we are talking about K-Choke's behavior in his position. I can't remember the last time I mentioned it, but it has been at least months and was likely combined on a list of things.
A single fan dropped approximately 10 pieces of popcorn on Bowman. A fan Popeye.. Yet I can find several posts within the last few days claiming that fans threw food at an injured player and that they can't wait to shower the next Hawks player that is injured in SC.
The reality of the situation was that when Bowman was injured, the loudest stadium in the NFL was the most quiet at that moment than it was all day. Everyone I sat around shared concern for Bowman, did not witness a single instance of celebration other than the respect Bowman received as he was carted off. Niner fans that were there would be lying if they claimed anything else.
I get what you are saying, they are both things that should be let go and moved on from, but they are different. Now the Sherman rant and choke sign? That is worthy of attention, but then again that's exactly what Sherman was looking for and he is not a QB. Kind of like our own TO out here. Still like the Dallas "star" incident.
