Screw football..sell some perfume and Let Russ Cook..cook book. That’s waaay better than being humble and worrying about football games. Obv I’m not saying Russ’ personal life over the last few weeks has led to his performances BUT let’s be honest..ever since ‘Let Russ Cook’ he’s been performing waaay below his standard. Is he getting too Big time?

I got roasted for saying it earlier but I will say it again: Russell Wilson has hit his ceiling. We have seen the best of him that we are going to see. He has all the weapons he needs and still can’t get it done. We will not win another SB with him and Carroll.

and I will say it again, nope sorry your wrong. While I agree with PC sorry we saw what Wilson in games 1-5, so obviously what we saw to day is not his ceiling, the question a REAL fan would be asking is what changed, But again that is what a REAL fan would ask.

John you keep harping about "real fans" more than a couple
times in various posts..Knock of that bullshit.
You defend RW in any critical post of him which we all know
but questioning people's fandom?You?

So Wilson has hit his ceiling...in week 13 of the 2020 season. Man he fell off quick, well time to find a new one

Hes not a REAL fan because he thinks Russ hit his ceiling?

You can challenge the logic, but trying to equate a disagreement to someone's fandom is fanboy nonsense.

Something has changed. I think its fair to question whether PC and RW can sort it out.

I dont know about all the other stuff.. but sure seems like the play calling got more conservative after the Bills game.

An effort to cut down on the turnovers? Seems like it hasn't had the intended effect and the turnovers haven't really gone down either.

Russ shouldn't need to hit his ceiling to beat the Giants.

Teams beat great teams without their QB playing super MVP football all the time.

The problem seems more relying on the QB to be so incredible we win games despite a stupid/slapdash/haphazard/non-sensical gameplan, than our QB just not being great enough.

You cannot argue Wilson is not good enough to beat the Giants. You can ask how this coaching staff put Wilson in a position to win.

Colt McCoy beat us. That was not because Wilson does podcasts or perfume.

John, what's up with Russ. Tell us why Russ "appears" off, from a "Fan's" perspective.

I suspect he might be injured, because he's been all over the map this season, and especially since Ciera's birthday (Ram's game). The game looks fast for him. The line sucks ass too. But Russ isn't helping his line either.

Agreed. I accept that pete wanted to go back to a more balanced attack. That has worked for a couple of weeks. Today, the Hawks were too conservative and should have thrown in the towel on the run game in the 3rd quarter.

Pete needs to accept when his plan is not working and make the necessary adjustments. He used to be great at halftime adjustments.

Russ has been off since his slump where he threw a ton of picks. He came out of it a bit, but the bravado, and fearless approach was gone in favor of the old Russ where he throws for 225 and 1 or 2 TDs. MVP Russ was cookin' because everyone around him was cookin'. The OL was protecting, the receivers were getting separation.

Then it fell apart. Since then, and especially today, he's looked tentative, afraid to throw a pick to the detriment of taking chances he normally would. The right side of the OL was in shambles and it showed. Russ always gets happy feet and less confident when he knows his protection is compromised.

Coverage sacks are due to a lack of confidence in himself and his protection, even if it's all in his head.

Russ will be okay. This too shall pass. Just a crappy performance today, and he's had his share this year.

MVP will have to wait for another year. Just win.
