Being called a "meaningful step".
If they are so rabid, why haven’t they ever come to an agreement to build a new stadium? They just keep throwing money at a crappy soldier field. Everyone knew it should have been replaced 20 years agoI guess. But I've been to a game out there, they are RABID about their football team. Can't imagine that team not playing at Soldier Field.
Illinois is taxed out to the max and cannot afford more taxpayer dollars goingSo the Bears' 100+ year history in the state of Illinois, and the fact that Chicago is the 3rd largest market in the U.S. means nothing? Toss that aside, simply over a new stadium? Some people need some sense slapped into them. This would be a massive mistake.

That's what I thought about when I saw this story, too, along with the Chiefs bid to move to Kansas.Different State and different tax system, I think Indiana would like the notoriety of one upping Illinois as well. This about a stadium, and it will be sad if they do change their name.
Why i have a rumbleing stomache over our sale and to who.
Until something similar happens to us. We should care about NFL owners trying to use leverage to get tax payers to foot the bill for massive stadiums and escape tax burdens. We don't care.
