Again the fans were loyal, the owners and Politicians were not to the fans. If you were not here you can not know, so quit making judgements about the fans here. You are speaking of things that is just showing your non educated opinion on the matter.
And you've resorted to the tools of someone whose logic has failed.

No if i did that you would know, ask around, you said you were not here, you don't know what wasn't on the national news then, you don't know what led up to the sale and the disrespect Schultz showed the fans and the players before he said he would sell, he sold to spite the fans, and to someone he knew would move the team from the get go.

You have to remember the Sonics were there long before the Hawks
or Ms, the fan base roots were strong for many years till a shit owner,
politicians and a greedy Stern all colluded to ruin a great franchise that
Seattle loved.
I was so upset this happened and many others, most of us no longer
support the shit NBA because of it.
I for one never again will regardless of any team coming back happens.

I understand, and I enjoy these discussions and don't mind being reminded of the passion Sonics fans had. At the time I also thought they were getting a raw deal. But when such discussions come up, I'm going to state how I saw things, and that's all I've done. The insults in that last post are not something I'm going to put up with. They can be flung my way, but I won't be seeing them.

You need to grow a pair and some thicker skin, that wasn't an insult, I said you were uneducated in the events, now go back to your Google search and form opinions based on an AI bot's acronym.

So much about this guy is whats wrong in general.

You don't like my opinion, call me out on it, I'm taken my tissue paper and going home cause my feelings got hurt is weak and why we can't have debates and discussions anymore.

Don't give two shits if you blocked me, won't be the first or last.

Been blocked by many more much more colorful and justifiably so. At least most of them could support an argument and were passionate about what they brought to the table.

I never liked key arena and no parking anywhere close, it's kinda like when the hawks played at husky stadium I wasn't gonna sit there and be comfortable so was totally thrilled when SEAHAWKS stadium was built which is what it was originally called
I liked the klink name better than lumen Still can't believe that Seattle politicians were being jerks about it
I'm not a basketball fan but they were the only team I would watch and if it weren't for Jordan they'd have had a ring here in this city and I think that could've helped change folks minds about giving them something but moving any team stings, I know I was pissed and to this day hate the hell out of and will not buy anything starbucks
They can suck a DDDD
Back in the day when it was built and called the Seattle Coliseum the area wasn't bad, we walked from several locations, the Fun Forest, Food Court were big draws, we slept in the area around the Fountain and rotated food runs and drinks etc while waiting in line for Playoff and Championship tickets 1978 and 1979. Everyone got along shared blankets, Hot Cider and other drinks. Walked up and around Queen Ann, ate at Kid Valley, it was really good back then. Parking was not an issue, usually could find parking within a couple blocks. Diamond Parking lots were all over also.

I went to a few games, I was pretty young so I'm not sure how we got there,
I want to say the monorail to nearby area.
But I do remember having a blast at the games in Coliseum, I never thought that
was going to be some issue to see a game in years later.
