Hasn't been mentioned much with all the other "if's" floating around. But them running it out to past the 30 was potentially a big deal. That kick would have probably been good from another 12 yards, but I think that ball needs to go in the end zone for a touchback. Never give them an opportunity to return the ball, even though the clock does tick.

they were actually tackled inside the 30

They only brought it out to the 26. It also took 6 seconds off the clock (nearly a fifth of the remaining time on the clock), which wouldn't have happened if the kickoff had led to a touchback. Our defense wasn't going to stop them either way.
