Dipoto will probably lay this at the feet of Dan Wilson.
And while I feel like Wilson is in over his head and has been really dumb at times, they basically set him up to fail.

Sounds exactly like what they did to Servais. Set him up to fail, and then made him the scapegoat when the dumpster fire of a lineup was very predictably a dumpster fire.
KJR FM radio is trying to give away tickets, and instead of takers, the callers are DOGGIN' on the team. With good reasons of course. The Mariners are THE WORST organization in professional sports. Like the early years of the Buccaneers, Cleveland Browns of late, and Seahawks of Ken Behring era... puking just writing his name.

How convenient for Jerry the dip sh*t moron Dipoto. Now he can blame this travesty on injuries (Robles, Bliss, Polanco) instead of the fact that he once again completely failed to bring in even a single player that might have improved the offense.

I’ve been saying it for a long time, bottom 5 sports franchise of the major sports. Team is a disgrace.
I don’t watch them anymore and actually enjoy when they lose.
They are losing, at least 3 of the 4 Stros runs were walked on.

Nobody WANTS them to lose as in they hate the team, it's the barely making it in to the postseason & winning nothing because they clearly aren't good enough or the coming up short on the last weekend, but "it was exciting" attitude from management, which never does anything to ADD talent that pisses people off & caused the bashing. DiBozo has made several major trades with Tampa & Arizona, both teams that are 20 years younger than the Mariners, but have both made it to the WS since trading with HIM.Yeah they won the series from the Stros. But that's just it. This division was takeable this year, and they didn't make the moves to do so. I've said this before, but the M's play 18 games at home and 12 on the road in April, and the schedule is favorable to them. They have a difficult schedule to end the season. They needed to get out of the gate fast this year with things in their favor. They're 5-8 so far in April. You may not be able to win the division in April, but you can lose it then.

Glad to hear the offense finally did something for the first time since Monday. I don't think it really changes anything or means much though. You're probably not going to be much more than a .500-ish team at best if your offense regularly goes MIA for 6 or 7 straight innings in most games.
As I understand it, they're taking more walks and the K rate is better overall than last year, but we're still seeing long stretches in most games of very few hits and no runs, which is very similar to last year. Late inning heroics are great, but this is still an overall very poor hitting team.

It's about damn time. However, they were 11 for 91 with RISP before that game. Pathetic. Once they got down 5 buzz, I figured it was done. Then got a text saying "holy sh**" That's usually good.
I'm as frustrated or more than anyone, but I'm gonna' enjoy every win, no matter what it looks like. I just don't get the whole downplaying a win thing. Then again, I'm a Hawks fan, and I hear it after every win.
