Some sad news: Mariner fan favorite Nelson Cruz's sister died in the DR after the roof collapsed at a night club.

Reading comments on the M's FB page, geez. People mad at Robles for giving up his body for the team. A special kind of dumb to get angry at a guy for playing hard. That's a huge loss for this team.

Bad News
Robles is out for up to 12 weeks (Sigh)

I posted this in a new thread a little while before you posted this. Seemed like it was thread worthy news to me since it affects way more than just this series. 🤷‍♂️

1 for 19 with runners in scoring position tonight.

Things are looking awfully bleak on offense with Robles out for 3 months (at least) and Polanco limited with a sore knee and apparently something going on with his side as well.

Did people bitch when Griffey hurt himself out there?
I remember him breaking his wrist crashing into the wall while
catching the ball, it sucks on getting hurt but it happens.
I'd rather see players trying hard to make a play than just standing
there to be safe.
Robles is my favorite M, nothing but respect for his playing ball.

Glad I just had it on the DVR and didn't watch a single second of it. Once the score popped up on my phone late in the night.......delete.
1 for 19? Beyond pathetic.

11 of 91 with men in scoring position. EMBARRASING. Hard to even put to words how sh** this offense is.

Glad I don’t have Root…or whatever platform they play on right now. I honestly don’t even know or care at this point. It’s almost as if they’re failing on purpose at this point it’s so comically BAD

JP & his uppercut swing under every pitch down the middle needs to hit the bench ASAP. Clearly he wants to switch to the PGA Tour.
I'm glad I'm not the only one seeing this. I'm reminded of Major League when Coach Lou Brown tells Willie Mays Hayes that "every time he lifts one in the air he needs to drop and give him 20 pushups" Crawford doesn't have the speed but he swings for the fences every time and power is not his game. You can see this with a lot of players.

I really feel for Dan Wilson, he inherited a shit show and there's not much he, or anyone can do about it. I can make a pretty good case for 18 players need to go and that includes every single player on offense.

His swing is comically bad. The uppercut is so pronounced, I don't know how everyone doesn't see it. I guarantee the opposition sees it. He had the one decent power year & since then he's been up there upper cutting for the fences. He swings right under fastballs down the middle. He's a strikeout machine with NO power.

Either the Mariners know about this & won't do anything about it, like correcting it or replacing him, because they are spineless, or they are completely incompetent.

Every single non-starting pitcher on this team is replaceable. That includes Cal and Julio. Just an all together poorly constructed and coached team.

So angry with the Mariners

Yep, getting there. Didn't watch one pitch last night. What happened is exactly what I expected. No clutch, choke a game away you have every chance to win.
