As frustrating as this year has been so far...I think we have to be honest and recognize teams have improved whereas we have plateaued. We haven't gotten any better in any area and I don't think we can be surprised. Our model isn't as good as the Patriots and we won't be dominant year to year..I don't think it's realistic to think that we can do that..a really good year every 5-6 years is more realistic.
I do believe the season is by far over and our division is weak enough we can get away with being 'ok'.
With all that being said and when a 'dynasty' is no more..as an organization you have to make changes. Be it in personal or coaching changes. Whether it's Pete, John or Paul..something has to be done. I'm not mad..just disappointed that things haven't been changed sooner. No major rant..just surprised knowing that we are a well run organization.
