An article up on .com about Marshawn Lynch with a few quotes from him.

And that’s why Lynch is smiling.

“I’m pleased with the production our whole team has been putting together,” he said. “I’ve never been a part of a team that has put up this many wins and had this bright of a future if we continue to stay on the path that we are on.

“So I’m just pleased to be on this team.”

He still is but since everyone is practicing the coach asked him to work in his communication skills so that he can keep his speech ready when selected as a first ballot HOF in Canton. You see Pete is always about long term plans and thinking ahead of his players.

I would love to see this happen but doubt there is enough yet for him to make it or even be considered.

I'm happy he owns, on record, one of the finest runs in the history of the NFL. If he gets several solid years in Seattle maybe. But he has never led the NFL in rushing as I recall he's just the toughest.

Remember Seattle had part of one of the finest running backs career and that would be Ricky Watters who was voted to 5 pro bowls, 3 all pros, won a SuperB owl, rushed for over 10,000 yards. We had a running back that was a league MVP. Neither of them are in the Hall of Fame. So we can hope and dream but unless he lasts longer than I think he will and leads the league in rushing a couple of times I sadly doubt he makes the hall on the back of that fantastic run.

I hate it but that's the facts.

Did he stop talking to the media after the DUI? This seems like the first I've seen him quoted in forever.
