I predicted a victory last Sunday simply with my heart, not my head. Since it was the first and only game I would be attending this season, I wanted to will the win into existence even though my head said we would likely lose. And lose we did. No need to rehash what's already been written the past few days. It was ugly. Start to finish.
This time, I am predicting with my head. The Rams have been our nemesis for many years now. McVay simply knows how to beat the Seahawks. If this would have been the first few weeks, I would take us at home. Now with Kupp and Puka back healthy, there's simply no way I can see how our troubled defense can manage them both with any real success.
I am still in the Mike camp. The man is in full evaluation mode and he needs time to put HIS team together. It could take 3 years. I'm not quitting on this team yet this year, but they better pull their asses out, fast, if they want any real chance for a postseason game.
Call my fandom out all you like but I will not be watching a lick of this game Sunday unless I find out we are playing well, or the game is close late. I'm tired of spending three hours being pissed off. I have better things to do with my life. Until they show me they are still fighting, and growing, I'm relegating myself to checking the score on my phone.
Aros' Fearless Prediction: Seahawks 20 - Rams 27
Aros' Fearless Record: 6-2
