Ya'll know where I stand on this one. Bravado? Sure. Anything can happen? You bet. Backup QB come in and beat us at home? There's a track record in fact of that happening. Dare I say a trend even.

But that's history.

Sure, the backup can come in, the Dolphins can leave with one of the upsets of the weekend. Will it happen?

Nope.

Aros' bold prediction scares me . But like a brother who gets in a fight on the playground , I'm obliged to back him up.

Miami 17
Seattle 30

Backup QB? MM don't play that .

Season record 2-0

I suspect the game will be closer than some think but the Hawks will still cover the spread and then some.

Seahawks - 23

Dolphins - 10

Seahawks - 38

Phinless in Seattle - 12

We get not 1 but 2 defensive TD's that pushes up the score, still have our Oline issues but improve.

I think the era of scheming super conservative game plans against backup QBs is over with Macdonald.

Seattle 27
Miami 17

Record 2-0

The problem with backup QBs is that it makes the opposing team take the team too lightly, and in the NFL, if you do that, you're sunk.

This is also the Jordyn Brooks revenge game. Of course, it's also the Jerome Baker and Connor Williams revenge game, too.

It will be a chess game between McDaniel and Macdonald, two young smart coaches.

I think with the losses of Christian Wilkins, Jerome Baker, and Alex Van Ginkel (not to mention Vic Fangio), that Dolphins' defense isn't that good. And losing Robert Hunt, the best guard in football, and Williams didn't help the offensive line.

So I think the Seahawks win, but it will be close, 27-24.

Mixed feelings about a Dolphins team that will come out swinging. Hawks at home with a defense that is improving and an offense that’s still trying to hit on all cylinders.

Hawks Roll in this one:

Hawks: 34
Dolphins: 13

Season: 2-0
