Yup. Took the day off already just in case. Zero chance I miss the parade. Was a blast last time. And omg it was cold that day.

While we all know anything can happen, I think the most likely outcome is we win decisively. I was listening to Joel Klatt today and he asked a very interesting question: Who on the Pats would you trade for to replace on the Seahawks? Neither Brock or Salk said anything and I couldn't think of anyone either. Maybe their Right Guard? But that's it. Just an interesting question that shines a light on the talent differential between both teams.

Seahawks 37
Patriots 13
NE 19
Sea 16
The talent gap is a tad overblown. On defense, the DL's are equal, and Milt Williams is the best player of the bunch. Seattle has the edge at LB, though Chaisson & Ellis are playing great right now. NE has the edge at CB (Gonzales/Davis/Marcus Jones), and Sea at safety. Emmanwori will play but probably not 100%.

On offense, Maye is the more talented QB. RB is pretty even - Rham's been impacting games as much as Walker, and NE has the edge at RB2 with Charbonnet out. NE has a better TE in Hunter Henry, and better at TE2 as well. WR is Seattle, but NE goes 5 deep with guys that make plays.

The OL's & QB's will decide this game. Neither team is gonna run very well. The OL edge probably goes to Seattle. NE's C-RG-RT are solid vets. LT and LG are talented rookies, and the question is if they can stay with Seattle's stunts. Maye can obviously run and throw on the run when pressured, better than Darnold can, which is a big factor if he doesn't fumble.

Unit vs unit:
Seattle's OL vs NE's front 7: NE
NE's OL vs Seattle's front 7: Seattle
Seattle's receivers vs NE's DB's: Seattle
NE's receivers vs Seattle's DB's: Seattle but NE will move the chains and get what it needs
Special teams: Seattle - NE's kicker and punter are both a little suspect.
Coaching: NE - much more SB experience

Your head coach has as much coaching experience in the Super Bowl as Seattle's head coach and McDaniels has only done it with hoodie holding his hand (and has proven over and over he needs hand holding.)

New England will take a page out of the Rams offense and spread the Hawks defense out with deep crosses and slants. The Hawks DBs will need to play with anticipation--they cannot trail and chase the Patriot's WRs all game. NO BLOWN COVEAGES BECAUSE OF CONFUSION!! The pash rush MUST GET HOME!!! We cannot allow Maye to stand in the pocket with 4 to 5 seconds to find open receivers.

I think the game starts slow and picks up in the third and fourth quarters. Our defense slows them down enough to force them to play from behind. The offense does it's usual thing--the run and pass will be available, but it won't be easy--not exactly a struggle, but there will be frustrating moments. Look for the refs to let a few calls "go", here and there.

If the pass rush does not get to Maye like they did Stafford, this will be a shootout--at which point it becomes anybody's game.

THE NUMBER ONE DEFENSE IN THE LEAGUE MUST PLAY LIKE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!! DON'T LET THE PATRIOTS OFFENSE LOOK BETTER THAN IT IS!!!

^^^^ The Pats are not the Rams, Maye is not Stafford, and there is no Puka or Davonte Adams (or even Kyren) to worry about.

Pats aren't scoring 27 on this defense.

Hell...they'd be hard pressed to score over 15 (Total) this Sunday.

I predicted 48-10 for SB 48. Everyone told me I was crazy...there was no way that the most prolific offense in the NFL was going to be held to 10 points. I told them that the Broncos hadn't played anybody good. Strength of schedule matters when you are comparing stats. The Patriots won't even cross the goal line. Their defense hasn't played the Rams three times (that skewed our defensive stats for the worse). Other, better teams have tried to stop JSN and failed. Walker is just hitting his stride. Sam just needs to not make mistakes.

You think New England's defense is nearly Seattle's equal because you've watched them play a Denver offense without Nix, Dobbins, and Franklin. Or a Chargers offense with no offensive line, and pretty much no Omarion Hampton.

If Milton Williams and Christian Gonzalez are better than our guys, why is it that they're not on the All-Pro team, but Leonard Williams and Devon Witherspoon are?

And you admit your special teams are weaker. By calling for a 19-16 Patriots win, you're saying it's going to be a defense, field position and field goals game. How likely are you to win that game with the kicking matchup being Jason Myers vs. rookie Andy Borregales? Or Bryce Baringer being nearly ten yards worse in net punting average during the postseason than Michael Dickson? Baringer's punts being returnable should scare you a lot, since he'll be punting to Rasheed Shaheed.

You have no idea what you are about to see

You don’t know what The Darkside is.

This is not the Sam Darnold you are looking for.

I can foresee Sam Darnold after the game saying "You failed, your Highness. I am a Jedi, like my father and the Marlboro Man before me." 🙃

The stage is set. Huge game. Lots of emotions and excitement. Hawks bust out early and feed off energy. I worry a bit about all of the distractions that 2 weeks of media and side shows do. And that favors the underdog Pats.

I hope Klint pounds the rock, and dials up screens early to slow down that Patriots pass rush up the gut. I see this as Seahawks offense is the driver as to the outcome of this game. Get ahead early and allow the defense to dictate the game. If they allow NE to hang around bad things can happen.

Seattle….31
Patriots…16

MVP……..Demonworie!!! All over the field making an impact and affecting the game.
