Russell actually keeps a few read options and hobbles to a few key first downs this week because the DE's have all been told "he ain't takin it, so crash the middle!"

Notice: As of 3:19 PST Friday I have officially changed my pick from Seahawks 23 - Saints 21 to Seahawks 23 - Saints 28 due to Bennett now being out for the game and other injuries and defensive exhaustion from SNF.
I am switching too, but from a Seahawks loss (14-17) to a Seahawks win (27-17). Why? This Hawkblogger article convinced me the sky is not falling

Honestly with the injuries to RW I am expecting less offence than the last game...I did not predict this game as a loss at the start of the year but the injuries to RW who can't run and now likely can't throw, horrid o line specifically at the tackle positions, sub par running game and I don't see how they can put up a lot of points. The defence will have to return a fumble or in for a couple TD's

13-6 Saints in another snoozefest.

You negative Nancy's need to freaking relax.. good lord.. we are not losing to a 2-4 team with far more injuries then us. We have this thing called a defense in case you forgot.

Correct.

Although it can be argued that the 'Aints lost a few of those games in the closing minutes, to relative freak occurrences, there are far too many man-to-man matchups that favor the Hawks going into this contest than any we have played this year.

Just make sure the beer is cold, and all will be peachy. :2thumbs:

I haven't really participated in this thread in the past but I have to say I am fairly certain this game will be a loss. If we manage a win it will be of the comeback variety imo.

Saints 20-10

Kam out so we will get burned deep once and will give up another late because they'll be gassed. Our offense will suck and Bevell threads will dominate.

It's a 2-4 team that can throw for 400 yards a game
2-4 means nothing

Hawks - 38
Saints - 17

Russ is not going to be hassled a whole lot in this game. Brees will be.

Sorry guys. Kam and Bennett out, Brees doing well, Wilson not his usual mobile self, and now scrubs starting at left tackle... I know the Saints defense isn't much, but we faced a similar defense in Atlanta at home, and barely manage.

Late comeback falls short.
