Eh, I'm not panicking based on last week's horrid performance. After inevitably screwing up at St. Louis with tackling, run fits, and assignments, the defense reasserts itself the next week.

Moreover, the pressure is on the Packers to redeem themselves after the NFCCG loss. Personally, I think it's in their heads, and they'll press too hard, resulting in mistakes.

I also think we're going to see a lot of ball control this week and Lynch goes for 120+ with 2 TDs.

Call it 27 - 20 Seattle.

0-1 (But 1-0 in my preseason predictions, so I'm going to stick with that until I'm forced to change.)

Defense gets it together, locking down and Russel gets his wish and runs more of the hurry up offense to keep Packers on their heels and we get Jimmy really involved.

Seahawks - 38
Packers - 23

I am battling myself on this one. First I say to myself that our defense is getting warmer in the subs that are becoming starters and will have a chance of meshing. Last week was a hard game to learn your position and get a feeling of how to make it all work. Tough defenses and decent offenses do that, and an untried qb.

This week we kinda know what we have in mind as a defense. We see what we need to work on. We have tape to analyze and we did analyze it. Did we learn from it????? I think we did.

So that being said, to make this not TLDR, I am gonna go with a win for us. 24-21.

Russell is sacked 13 times, throws 8 INTS.

Everyone on the offensive line dies of embarrassment.

Bevell is finally fired.

Feeling so-so about this one. We all fear the 0-2 start but realized before the season it was a possibility.

Methinks this is another game where the last possession wins or loses it.

My gut:

Hawks 27 - Packers 24

Fearless YTD Record: 0-1

I think everyone has forgotten that if we cover that one sideline kick we win that game. GB's defense isn't as good as Rams especially vs. the run. I see Lynch going off in this one and Graham is going to be a bigger factor as well.

On the other side Bailey is going to have a better game, you could tell that before last Sundays game that he didn't sleep all night. With those jitters out of the way I expect improvement. I also expect to see better LB play Sunday night. I watched the GB game vs. Chicago and came away unimpressed.

Our offense hums like it has for the past 3 years and all the Bevell bashers will have to find a different activity to keep them amused at their telemarketing jobs.

Hawks 36,
Fudge Packers 27
