We win and I am 8-1 so far.

Run defense needs to show up, we have AP coming to town next week.

These last two games were somewhat of a wake up call and they get some things 'fixed' this week.
Actually, I thought Tampa Bay was the game they were supposed to fix the problems from St. Louis. Didn't happen, even in our house. Sorry, I don't think we've figured it out enough to win on the road. Hope I'm wrong.

Atlanta 20
Seattle 10

Record: 7-2

I'm really tired of us playing down to the our competition. Tired of watching LBs over-pursuing and creating cutback lanes. Tired of 15 yards runs becoming 10 yard holding penalties. Tired of watching RW get leveled after the play.

However...

This is a team that we've had offensive success against and is missing a lot of key parts of both their offense and defense. Matt Ryan is trying too hard with subpar talent. If we stop the run, we'll roll. I think our run struggles will continue (give up maybe 130 yards).

However....

Seahawks get ahead early. Ryan's 2 picks playing catchup will be hard to overcome. One will come with sub 5 min remaining. We'll run out the clock.

I can't pick against the Hawks anymore. They surprise me every week. Even when playing like absolute crap, they have found a way to win.

One of our last two 10am games and one of our final THREE road games. Only 2 left after this one and we're in week 10. Wow we got those out of the way early. Hope they continue the trend of being road warriors.

Considering RW is perfect against teams his second time 'round, I predict a win.

Every week I post optimistic scores thinking the Seahawks will break out on offense, but I just can't do it this week.

Seahawks win in an ugly game, 17-10.

RTD: 8-1

I'm picking the seahawks only because I think the hawks will have an extra motivation because of the playoff game last year, they'll come out much more inspired than in the past.
Seahawks 23 Falcons 19.
I seriously wouldn't be shocked at all if we lose this game

I get everyone's reaction from the last couple of weeks, but this is by far the worst defensive team we have faced all year. I think they start to sure up against the run enough, and they got back to they're identity last week. 10am starts always worry me, but Atlanta is bad, and yes worse than Tampa I believe. Seattle gets it done and ties the franchise record for road wins in a season.

Tampa Bay would actually be probably a .500 team with some competent coaching. Hell, they should have beaten the Jets because that personal foul call on Lavonte David was, to put it nicely, dubious in nature.
I saw on PFF they have 3 tampa players on the all pro team, one of the worst coaching jobs ever

Indeed. According to DVOA and Football Outsiders advanced statistical metrics, Tampa Bay should be a 3-5 team (+/- a game either way)

Tampa Bay is much better than their record. They are the 2013 KC Chiefs.

2012 you mean, but I agree. Incompetent coaching and horrible qb play in a qb driven league can make a talented team bad, but you are what your record says you are.

Normally I'd be the first to pick a loss for the Hawks in this one. This will be a tough road game. But something just tells me that this team is too good to play like crap for 3 weeks in a row (plus it aint like the Titans game was anything special.) They are due for a very good performance.

You say that now, but wait until gameday and we've given up four sacks by halftime.

Falcons do not run the ball well at all and that combined with what I expect will be a clean-up of our team's issues vs. the run means they will need to attack through the air against the true strength of the Hawks' defense. As long as our guys aren't stuck playing a soft zone, we shut them down reasonably well on defense. Offensively, the run game continues to blossom, Russ commits zero turnovers and we finally get to relax while watching a game as the Hawks put it away in the middle of the 3rd and coast to the "W".
