I'm sure glad I was wrong last week when I predicted that the Cardinals would be a trap game for the Seahawks.

I think the Seahawks take this one in defensive struggle, 17-14. The Rams have a highly rated offensive line, but they haven't played many teams capable of applying pressure, except the Colts, who sacked Stafford 3 times. The Texans also sacked Stafford 3 times and the Eagles 4 times. But those teams don't bring the pressure like the Seahawks, and I think the Seahawks throw Stafford off his game enough to win.

(Record: 6-2)

I forgot all about this. No one is talking about Cooper Kupp. Kupp spent 8 years in LA so he'll have an insight on how to beat that offense. You don't think Kupp and Macdonald sat down this week as Kupp explained McVay's offensive scheme, yeah right. Kupp is gonna give away secrets.

We don’t know about Mike’s number just yet but he sure had Pete’s.
We got Kupp now. GUARANTEED Kupp and Macdonald sat down as Kupp explains the secrets to that McVay offense. Not that Macdonald needs to do that, but I'm just saying. Kupp spent 8 years in that offense so he knows it inside and out.

Back in Seattle.
The Vay always finds a Way to give us issues but this year feels a bit different. I think we go down To LA and show the rest of the country that we're here to stay.

The national media is all saying the Hawks are a good team, however they then usually always add the term BUT.

It's time for them to get the BUT out.

Suspect this will be a very tough close game. The Hawks will put a lot of pressure on Stafford and perhaps rub him harder than he's been rubbed in quite a while. Sam I Am (he truly is) will refrain from his recent regrettably unfortunate turnovers and will run a complete game, throwing with his characteristic accuracy which will allow a Seahawks W. Stafford keeps it close.

Seattle 28- LAR 24

I don't know. Both teams are coming into this game a bit on a roll, each having won four in a row. It's close when you break it down to the basic elements of the game. Like most of these big games against closely matched teams, it's likely going to hinge on about 5 or 6 big plays and who comes out more on top of them.

It's a big test for Sam. Stafford might well be the hottest QB in the league now. I'd like to see Sam go toe-to-toe with him, and not turn the ball over. I hope we have a good/creative offensive plan, and that we can get fairly consistent pressure on Stafford.

I'm pretty much flip-a-coin on this one, but hoping we come up with a couple of key plays in big moments and pull it out.

Stafford is having a career year. 3 straight games with 4 TDs. I long to see tyrice knight poke out the rock. Everyone has a plan until they get smashed squarely in the face and start seeing stars. We have to bring our pass rush with four and get home. Maybe sneak Emmanwari in there a time or two.

Sam and the offense might get sucked into a shootout.

Rams 41

I wouldn't want to bet money on this one. Both teams coming in on a 4 game roll and mostly dominating doing it. Ali vs Frazier. This is what it's all about right here. I see some high scoring predictions, I'm gonna go defensive battle.

Remember the days many 12s - myself included, often leading the charge - were bitching about not getting respect from the national media?

Yeah, those days are over. I can't switch on any national NFL show that isn't talking about the Seahawks as one of, if not THE best in the NFL right now. Outside of a couple haters, most Power Rankings have your Seattle Seahawks football club as the top or one of the top teams.

Respect is earned, and right now we are earning respect through winning. And not just winning, but doing so decisively. But to really get to the mountain top of respect, you have to beat teams like the Rams. Right now, it's a strong argument for which team is better, the Seahawks or the Rams. The two truly top powerhouses at the moment. The Rams are doing Rams things with McVay and Bradford. A tough offense and stingy defense. With their 3 TE sets causing all kinds of issues for defenses, Bradford is leading the way in the MVP race.

But you know who the Rams haven't faced yet? The 2025 Seattle Seahawks. We have precisely the type of defense and offense and coaching that will undoubtedly give the Rams problems on Sunday. They will unquestionably be a challenge for us too. Both teams should trade punches all game long and it will likely come down to the final drive of the game to decide who wins.

It's likely going to be a nerve-wracking affair. The kind of game were self-preservation will be paramount.

The Rams are damn good. But so are we, which is why I am sticking with the number one team in the NFL.

Aros' Fearless Prediction: Seahawks 27 - Rams 24

Aros' Fearless Record: 6-3
Even P. Prisco picked us to win.

Remember last year at home we lost. But if Geno had thrown ads instead of throwing ints, we could've won 34-13. 35-13 if Meyers doesn't miss. This team is lights out compared to last year. Time to beat the old man. 31-9 Hawks.

I honestly cannot recall a midseason match-up with this level of anticipation since the 2012 or 2013 winter game vs 49ers, in which we proceded to utterly demoralize them play after play all game long.

This one is weird....Seahawks play great on the road. Stafford with the Rams is 5-0 against Seattle. We nearly won the final game last year with all backups too, and we beat Darnold twice relatively easily.

On the flip side, we hadn't beat the Niners with CMC until this past week, and I'm a little superstitious.

As is usually the case, whoever wins the trenches will win this game IMO. And that could truly go either way.
