Back in Seattle.
I too am in the optimistic group. We've had 2 weeks to prepare, are finally healthy, cut out some players who didn't fit, and the niners are no longer on the up and up. We give Purdy a rough afternoon, put up 30, and continue this roller coaster ride of a season.

Man, I really hate starting off my morning with negativity but I just don't see too many victories left for this 2025 squad, and I certainly don't see one occurring this Sunday against the 49ers. Even though the 49ers aren't the powerhouse they've been in recent years, they are still loaded and like the Rams, have the cheat codes for beating the Seahawks.

I'm going to relax and just hope for signs of improvement the rest of the way. This is an evaluation year. Let the real rebuild begin for Mike in 2025.

Aros' Fearless Prediction: Seahawks 23 - 49ers 27

Aros' Fearless Record: 7-2
24- 16 9er's

I'll go 31-20 49ers.

Got robbed last night. Feeling a little more down on the human race today than I already am.

So, the last Niners game was a predicted loss in my Madden world--and unfortunately, that's what ended up happening. But hold the phone! What does the Madden crystal ball see for this game?

Niners opening drive is a 3 and out and the Seahawks march down the field but the drive stalls in the red zone and we settle for 3.

Niners punt again and the Seahawks again reach the red zone. Unfortunately, Abe Lucas isn't quite his old self and has a bad whiff leading to a big hit and fumble on Geno. Niners recover.

Neither team even threatens to score again and the score going into halftime is actually 3-0.

Third quarter though, is when the Seahawks turn it on. Opening drive is a march down the field which is capped off by a designed QB draw TD. Seahawks now lead by double digits.

Niners follow up with deep drive into the red zone but Purdy throws a pick in the end zone that gets taken back the other way for a house call. Seahawks now up 17-0.

Niners finally manage to get on the board with a TD to start the fourth, but the Seahawks respond right back with a methodical drive that chews up most of the clock and is capped off with a KWIII TD which ends up being the final points of the game.

Seahawks: 24
49ers: 7

Robbed, like held up or burglary? Where?
No, it was just my car broken into. But I had a covered box of school stuff in it that included a big pile of papers to grade, lesson plans sketched out, my school computer, a few teacher editions, etc.., plus my old leather jacket. And then mostly easily replaceable glove compartment and otherwise stuff. The school stuff just peed me off. Useless to pretty much anyone else, but a headache for me.

The only time I am happy to be wrong is when I pick against the Hawks and they win.
