Somehow, someway, we live in bizzaro world and I have to discuss the possibility that the Seahawks will be hosting the Philip Rivers-led Indianapolis Colts this Sunday.

It’s hard to imagine a 44-year old getting signed to the practice squad with 4 days to practice having any real shot against one of the league’s elite defenses. But galldarn it all, Phillip has a high football IQ and reports are that his arm is still in good shape.

I imagine there’s potential to throw stuff at the TV this Sunday but in the end, the better team wins.

Aros’ Fearless Prediction: Seahawks 28 - Colts 16

Aros’ Fearless Record: 9-4

Go Team Go!!

Also, I hope it’s okay I post these here. As mentioned in the last prediction thread, I was in attendance at last weeks game in Atlanta. Here are some pictures from field level. I represented Seahawks.net with pride, dignity, respect, and a ton of noise

Colts have a below-average defense, and they'll be without Sauce Gardner, and probably still without DeForest Buckner. Their offense relies on Jonathan Taylor and their solid O-line, and that hasn't changed.

I think this game will come down to how successfully the Colts can run the ball and keep the Seahawks' offense off the field.

I predict that we will be able to run the ball. That the Seahawks will be able to control TOP. I find it hard to believe a 44 year old out of the league 4 years will be up to game speed. The Hawks defense will be even better this week. Julian Love is back. This his second game. Our special teams will look real good.

In a surprise move, RIP Van Winkle starts for Indy at quarterback and leads them to 4 field goals. It's not enough as Seattle is in the Colts red zone so often the yard markers are worn off the field , scoring 33. In an unprecedented move, the NFL awards the Seahawks 3 additional points to make up for a halftime accident on the Colts sideline involving geritol, prune juice, Ensure, and Tucks medicated pads.
Hawks roll 36 - 12

I like the Hawks by 30. Right after and I mean immediately after they pack Phillip River’s fudge on Sunday they need to shift focus to the Rams ASAP. Win out and the Hawks are the one seed

Offense gets off to a slow start because that’s what they do and the meltdown begins. Then we come out at the half and play football.

Remember we are only allowed 1-2 complementary games per season and we’ve used those up methinks. So it’s pick a half and play ball time.

107-106 Sonics win

They’re playing for playoff survival and their defense comes out pumped up and with a plan to feed Taylor early with Rivers throwing screens and quick outs. Our men accept the challenge and win on 1st down and destroy their confidence with a defensive takeaway early.

31-16 Hawks.. if sauce doesn’t play 42-13

Rivers was a great QB back when he was in the league. Dude is now 44 years old and hasn't played a single game in 5 years. He's not gonna come up in Lumen field and light our defense up, it's not gonna happen.

This game is exactly why it’s hard to predict what will happen a couple of weeks into the future. Colts looked like a tough matchup and then they lose DJ and his backup. Colts are banged up on defense too.

Seattle, at home, mentally might start sluggish and expecting to win. I hope not. Crush them early and get the starters out for the 4th quarter.

Seahawks…. 31
Colts………… 10
