It was the turnovers that caused the itch in my backside to drive me crazy. Other than that, which was a repeat of the previous week (therefore a pattern?) I fully support the clock burning offense to do what it can do, and they eventually succeeded in getting that job done. Our staff is cooking on the back burner even if the front burners are turned down to warm.

I'm waiting for us to put together a complete game. These past couple weeks, it feels like we've only showed up for the first half.

Won by 24 and 22. I couldn't worry about this team if I tried. To each his/her own.
Also, for the 50th time, THEY GAVE UP ONE TOUCHDOWN IN GARBAGE TIME AGAINST WASHINGTON.
Yesterday was annoying because they were passing when they shouldn't have. Turnovers didn't need to happen. You're up 30 plus points in the 2nd half, run the damn ball.

7-2.

My oh my.

My girl got cranky with me today because I couldn’t appreciate the dominance. I was worried they would come back in the second half and they did score some points. I can’t seem to enjoy the ride. I go hide until the game is over and then I can relax. Call it self preservation. Blood pressure management and all.

Clearly we are one of, if not the best team in the NFL right now but I am NOT a fan of taking our foot off the gas in the second half. This is twice now in the last two games we relax in the second half allowing the opponent to get some confidence even if the game still really isn’t in doubt.

We scored 38 points in the first half. AMAZING! Yet just 6 in the second half. I know I shouldn’t be so critical of a team that is clearly one of the best in the league but can we keep the foot on the gas in the second half for once?

Still, holy hell. We are a great team.

GO HAWKS l!
I hold a similar mindset on the second half, and I stated so clearly in my (tongue in cheek) synopsis post.

Since reading the back in forth I’ve mellowed a bit, but still can’t deny that I didn’t feel the same at the end of the game that I did at the end of the first half.

Inside I’m freaking stoked but the forever Hawk fan in me won’t allow for any over confidence, there has been way too many let downs for various reasons.

Fun?
Absolutely I’m having fun. I didn’t expect this until next season.

I’m looking at next week as my temperature check, and I’ll emotionally move forward accordingly.
I’ve never been an X&O guy, I’m not a statistician or a historian.
I’m a cheerleader and my fandom is pure emotion.

Nothing wrong with being cautious. But there's also nothing wrong with being very confident. Both are justified.

Now if we were talking about the Mariners, that statement is extremely accurate.

I think many of us have PTSD from the old Seahawks days of winning in 4th quarters and losing with the other teams making a comeback. AEDs unite!

I had a friend who was complaining about Sam Darnold's turnovers. I had to lay one of my dad's favorite lines on him: "My God, you'd bitch about the crack in the Liberty Bell!"

I haven't felt this good about a Seahawk team in 8-9 years since the breakup of the LOB. And so long as my flights go off ontime, I plan on watching the Seahawks-Rams game this Sunday in Las Vegas, most likely Scooter's Pub, a meeting place for Seahawk fans.

Agreed, don't understand the logic about not breaking the will of your opponent?. Why let them think they can stay in the game? Should have put up another 21 points and just finished it.

They never were remotely in that game, not even close.
Let me guess, you think when a team is up 31 points, they should still just throw it all over the yard in the 2nd half?
No thanks. Pound the rock and watch that clock go down.

unless enroute to doing so you turn it over even more, stop the clock (to allow more AZ possessions) or get your stars hurt for no other reason than just to 'break their will"

this isn't a measure your junk contest. The goal is to win the game by at least 1 and move on
