Hi 12's .....i'am curious how international this Forum is and where you cheer tomorrow for SB 60

I'am from Germany and since the early 90's interested in American Football.
Also in those Days my Connection to the City of Seattle starts with my Love for Grunge Music and espacially Pearl Jam.
The Beginning for me to be a 12 has been the Superbowl Win vs. the Broncos which been a Demonstration of Dominanz .
Since a few years i'am a proud member of the "German Seahawkers" Fanclub
My Personal Highlight was the First Regular Season NFL Game in Munich and saw my Team live !

Are there any other international Fans Here in this Forum? Where are U from and when u become a 12?

Go Hawks !

That's an awesome story! Welcome !!! I grew up a military brat, so i spent some time in Germany (Ramstein AFB). It's a lovely place and have very fond memories of the area. Again welcome and have fun, hope the Hawks can pull it off !!!

Hi Bootsy51 - Wilkommen! I'm in Adelaide, South Australia. Been a 12 since 1984, when I discovered American football. Went to two games at the Kingdome in 1996. I love Seattle (the Seahawks, the city, and the people), and loved Germany when we visited in 2017. We have fellow Seahawkers here from Canada, the UK, New Zealand... and I'm sure I've missed plenty more (sorry, folks)!

10AM Monday - I have just finished watching it (Tuesday afternoon). I'm in hospital after surgery during the game. Incredibly happy but now tired and have had oxycodone so am gonna read everyone's victorious posts here tomorrow. First time I've logged in here since before the game - well, first time on computer at all I saw game up to 2:00 in 2nd quarter before going to theatre.

Doing well post-op and looking forward to reading all we 12s have written since.

Back in 2018, I attended the Seahawks first overseas game in London. On the Friday before the game, my friend and I went to a pre-game Seahawks rally at a bar near London Bridge. We got there early and secured a pub table that sat 4-5 people.

With no more seating left, we were approached by two relatively young (at least young to me) ladies who asked if they could join us, and we readily agreed. It turned out that both of them were German and had flown in for the game. They were huge Seahawk fans.

The other thing that impressed me is that they spoke nearly flawless English with no discernable accent, familiar with our slang, and so on. Their company made for a very enjoyable evening.

The other thing to note about that night is that I got to shake hands with Walter Jones, just the second HOF'er from any sport that I've shook hands with, the other being Bob Feller. Big Walt was heading past our table in route to the bathroom when I stood directly in his path and extended my hand. He had two choices: Grab me by the shoulders and throw me away like a rag doll or shake my hand. Fortunately for me, he chose the latter.

Hi, and welcome! I was with a couple friends in Munich for Oktoberfest in 2024. Seattle native here, but I got tired of that weather and I live near all the big theme parks, now. :)
