True. But we can also choose to just enjoy the ride. To each his/her own. I've been on that expect the worst side for several years. Just can't do it anymore. Waste of energy. Making it more enjoyable. For me at least.

We're barely 1/5 of the way through the season. Still plenty of time for them to screw it up. Don't act like they've already locked up the AL West. They blew a 10 game lead last season.
THERE It is.. "Its only the first month" FFS Cannot ANYONE just ENJOY whats going on... since its been happening for a full half season now basically?

The debbies... don't seem to grasp since we changed management and coaching staff... we are top 5 in pretty much all measurable stats

Still John Stanton. Still Jerry Dipoto. I'm glad they dumped Servais. But we've seen this team with a great manager (Piniella) and great GM (Pat Gillick) and great talent. It meant nothing with a stingy owner that only cares about the bottom line.

The funny thing? Y'all hate me for being honest, but I've been loving what they're doing. Cal might be my favorite Mariner since Jay Buhner. I'm just not counting my chickens before they hatch, because this team, this owner, doesn't deserve it.

Poor Doom and Gloomers...been a tough season for you 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I’m reminded of Vegas vacation. Clark keeps losing money at the tables, and the dealer says to him, Griswald, why don’t you just give me half your money, and we go out back and I’ll just kick you in the nuts.

Most mariner fans are Clark it’s not doom and gloom. It’s going to take time for all of us to come around.

Still Dipoto…. Ughhhh. He’s so lucky Dan came out of the history book and righted this ship cause Dipoto was steering us into the dark. Maybe the last ten years are now starting to click, but I don’t give Dipoto the credit. The only thing he has done is hire Dan and get out of the way

I mean, it's the coaching that's going to decide how far this year's roster goes. Not Stanton or Dipoto.

And if they go deep into the playoffs, frankly, Stanton and Dipoto are going to be vindicated.

116 wins. 8 all stars. Best bullpen in baseball. Lost 4-1 in the ALCS because Howard Lincoln refused to loosen the purse strings for Gillick at the trade deadline.

I'm well aware. Get over it. A team that good doesn't lose because they were missing a great player, they lose on their own account.
