If you beat us, you're a contender. Look what it did to Indy's power rankings. These guys have a lot of pride and that absolutely comes out on the field.

Also, like Popeye said, Any Given Sunday. We are also dealing with a significant amount of injuries to one part of our team.

Don't talk to me about power rankings!

It's week 6 foo! Power Rankings are a joke because they only really factor in a team's record.

More realistic rankings:
1. Broncos
2. Seahawks (a distant 2nd)
3. 49ers
4. Packers
5. Saints
6. Patriots
7. Colts
8. Chiefs

I think they are playing some of their best football, but coming up just short of the mark. Meanwhile, we are limping our way to victories, regardless of how many key contributors are in the training room.

This team is successful despite a rash of highly impactful injuries. When we get those players back, teams had better look out.

Teams show up to every game.. What stopped the colts was the opposing defense, which was none existing for us against them. Its simply that.

'86 Hawks' "badge of honor"...one of the Giants' two loses in their first SB year.

I remember that game very well. It was the day I became a Seahawks fan, in New York state, in a family full of Giants fans.

Incorrect. Our defense showed up, the special teams screwed us. BBs questionable penalties didn't help either. If it weren't for the blocked kick returned for a TD, w woulda won that game.

So, since most here agree that the other teams are putting everything into playing us, to the level that they have a let down the following week, doesn't it go both ways?

If the other teams are treating it this way and giving it all, aren't we also having to put just as much effort into beating them? The other teams lose the following week and look lethargic, yet we keep winning. Could this be part of the reason why the team isn't as fantastic all the time as we would like them to be? Could this be part of the reason why they look sort of hung over the first half of the game, until the other team gets worn down a bit also?

I guess we will find out once we get a bit of rest for our team. The game following this Thursday night should be a bit of a rest. The game following our bye week should also look different.

I never thought of it this way before. I look forward to watching and seeing if this is true.
