No back up Left tackles signed, no depth at WR? Lockette is the guy were going with? really? Really?
Frank Omiyale performed well last year. why not sign him? he is FAR better than what we are fielding currently.

Lockette stinks, like really bad. Obamanu would be a better guy and has actually contributed in the past. Not saying he is the answer but he is better than Lockette by a damn site.

Obu is up there in age and has been out of the game. There's nothing to indicate that lockette is really that bad. WR takes the longest time to learn at an NFL level. And he's only coming in as a number 5 spot anyways. We don't need to be paying a vet minimum for a guy that won't even play.

I think it's obvious by now that the line isn't changing till we get our starters back. Just gonna have to suck it up. We have other backup lineman on the roster already. If they wanted to change, they would have by now. Three more games till they bye. All very winnable against bad pass rushing teams. Might as well keep chugging through.

Not surprised at all. We will be fine with what we have. When we get to the tougher part of the remaining schedule we should have our other guys back. Kearse will work fine, Lockette can run sprints to occupy the db even if he never catches a pass.

Not really. Many fans have a rather inflated view of what is possible or practical. The fact is that there just aren't that many good players just sitting around waiting for phone calls. And players on other teams' practice squad are unlikely to be a 'savior' to our program. If they were that good, they'd be on a regular roster somewhere.

So again, no, not suprised at all. In fact, I rather like that they aren't panicking over the current situation.

Omiyale hasn't done a thing in the league since visiting the Panthers for a tryout in March. How long do you think it would take him to get in game condition? Longer than it will take for Okung or Giacomini to return?

At least Obomanu was with a team for part of the year, and I'd be fine with bringing him in for a tryout.

But no, I'm not surprised that our FO hasn't gone all knee-jerk like the fanbase has.

This is an excellent point as well. We're not the only team with issues. If these players were so good, they wouldn't be sitting on their couches right now.

For the left tackle thing Im thiniking more for insurance if Okung gets hurt again. We can't do this again and expect to win.

Lockette is on the PS. We have Four other WR on the active roster and Harvin is coming back from injury. The trade deadline has passed, so any other players need to come from someones PS or off the street.

I'd rather Bailey get reps and gain some experience than bring in a guy on the wrong side of 30 who hasn't practiced this season.

Nope. Team doesn't have a lot of wiggle room under the cap and they're looking to get healthy in the second half of the season.

And the Seahawks are still 7-1 so there's definitely no reason to make a panic move.

Believe it or not, what we have is better than what is available on the market.

Two moves I would make that make sense to me.

1. Assuming Harvin is a no-go, elevate Rocket to the active roster as our #5 receiver.

2. Bench McQuistan immediately and prepare Bailey for his first start.

One more . . . Run a bunch of two TE sets. Eleviates the problem at WR and bolsters the run game.

not sure who else we should be signing at WR, do you have some secret list of currently unsigned guys that the Seahawks and rest of the NFL don't know about?

Lockette was just announced as upgraded to active roster.
