Anybody Working During the Super Bowl?

I have the great pleasure of being able to work from home. My commute time is awesome. The one downside is that this Sunday I have to hold a seminar for one of my classes. It starts half an hour after the Super Bowl starts and lasts about an hour so I figure I'll miss the first half (I probably won't watch the first half hour as tearing myself away might prove impossible!).

Anybody else going to have to miss part or all of the game owing to other responsibilities/obligations?

Several months ago my wife scheduled a Gold Award workshop for her girl scout troop on Feb 2nd from 1-4pm in Dupont (we live in Sammamish). Needless to say...the stream of words that came out of her mouth when she checked the calendar last week is NSFW. My daughter is skipping it but my wife is stuck.

Paid day off. I asked my wife if it was arrogant since I asked for the NFC Championship and Superb Owl off before we played the saints.

That's funny. I hope you and your daughter enjoy the game.

Took Monday off so that I wouldn't be called in for OT on Sunday. No way I'm missing this SB unless I'm dead. Go Hawks!

Always have weekends off but I'm taking Monday off. Hangover sucks but since it's going to be a celebratory hang over I'll manage just fine.

Unfortunately, I will be working the entire weekend. I will not have any media access since my job requires my full concentration. That would make me a Spirit Hawk for the game.

I am. But I work from home so I get to watch/work ... will probably be doing more watching than working ;)

I normally work Sundays (rough life for a football fan/Hawks fan). But not on the NFCCG or SB!

If it's any consolation, the Seahawks and Broncos have to work on Sunday too.
