It is so strange with every media, Packer fans, and their grandma picking the Hawks. I'm just not used to this in my lifetime and it just feels really :? weird!
Cyrus12":822s04ut said:It is different but....I don't think its gonna be the cake walk everyone thinks it is going to be. A LOT has changed since week 1 on both teams. I think we pull this one out but my level of certainty is about the same as it was last year vs the niners. A lot of things can happen on Sunday to make the score go either way. It will be the best the best game of the week no doubt! Just don't think its gonna be the blowout a lot are predicting...

The thing that I hate about all of this -- is the media talking trash about the Packers and not giving them a chance, man we all know how that motivation works. Not to mention the number of poo spewing, sewer pipe sliterhing Seahawk fans rushing to the twitter feeds of Packer players and talking crazy amounts of trash about how the GB players have no chance.
It just adds that extra layer of motivation to a team like Green Bay, they are a former champion themselves -- they will want to come out and play their absolute best, they will play with chip on their shoulder, play loose, and play to win, and shut all these stupid fans up... it's what our players like to do.
And they have a good chance of doing it. NFL players use loudmouth media pundits and fans for extra motivation all the time.
I guess this is the price that comes with success - but the worst part of it is, should the Seahawks lose, those same big mouth poo spewers will either vanish or they will be here braying like jackasses and slamming on coaches and players and second guessing everything and throwing the mother of all temper tantrums.
I've waited all my life for this team to be this good -- I get the excitement, I just don't get why fans have to get on social media and behave like total dickwads to the players our guys have to face. YOU aren't going to be out there lining up against these Packer players, so stay off their twitter feeds and keep your silly mouths shut... that's what smack shack forums across the internet are for - fans, fans can crap in each other's mouths and act like the fools they are all they want, but keep your mouth shut when you are addressing 300lb pro athletes.
Morons... probably wore Raider's jerseys up until the last 12 months.

Green Bay gave up 21 to Dallas. Didn't Dallas score 30 on you? Dallas' offense is no joke dude....taco40":39eok7uy said:The_Z_Man":39eok7uy said:The thing that I hate about all of this -- is the media talking trash about the Packers and not giving them a chance, man we all know how that motivation works. You beat me to it. I'll second this.
As I had said about the pre-SB hype, the picking of Denver just played into the bulletin board material for the Seahawks who came out with something to prove. Iw as loving it. This could very well be the same for GB. Just as Carolina came to play with nothing to lose, GB is probably in the same boat. They are probably eating it all up and can't wait to knock our blocks off.
Fortunately, GB's defense couldn't really stop Dallas (assuming especially if you agree that Bryant should have been awarded a catch at the end of the game) and Dallas's couldn't stop GB.
Skip said today Green Bay has ZERO chance of beating you in your place...The_Z_Man":3u00igvj said:taco40":3u00igvj said:You beat me to it. I'll second this.

Yea, I am hoping somebody comes out and dogs the hawks this week to balance the scales.
I worry that some idiot like Skip Bayless shoots his mouth off in our favor -- ugh, he's like the kiss of death.
Great post.... Rodgers would have had between 3 and 4 minutes to score a minimum of a field goal. When he went to one knee at the end he already had them at the Dallas 20.TwistedHusky":lgixtes4 said:Never EVER underestimate a great QB.
I watched a 243 year old Montana beat one of the best teams in the league (A Houston Oilers team that ripped right through a Dallas team in their 90s heyday). He was playing for the freaking Chiefs back when they had one WR named Bird or something.
But he was Joe Montana, and even though the other team was incredible - great players somehow just find ways of doing that. The offset is that Wilson is looking like a "great" and likely one or two of our secondary - but Aaron Rodgers could have one leg broken and tied to a chair with ducttape like in that healthcare commercial and I would still fear him.
He is an incredible QB. If Dallas gets that BS catch they are all whining about - he would have marched right back up the field and scored anyway.
The guy might be a collosal pr*ck but he is an incredible QB.
Still, I like our chances - just nervous. Then again, to get to the SuperBowl you SHOULD have to beat someone great. Rodgers qualifies.
Actually there were quite a few people who thought GB would win that game. Also Green Bay is a completely different team than week one. If this game were at Lambeau I'd honestly pick the pack. None the less it's at the Link and I can't argue with your prediction given the noise there and Rodgers being one legged against your pass rush....taco40":2ums0cya said:One positive note. GB came into Seattle once before this year being told they wouldn't win against the CHAMPS. They had something to prove as they were under the impression that this was their year.

How did they hold you to 23 points and 200 yards offense?Sports Hernia":51b5h546 said:Their offense is no joke, but their defense is.ptisme":51b5h546 said:Green Bay gave up 21 to Dallas.
