Luis comes a couple feet away from blowing it, but preserves the shutout through 6.

Good to get our money's worth out of him for a game.

Good game. Wish I could have seen it. KIRO radio is OK, though. Rizz is good at his job.

Castillo doing his thing for 6+. Bullpen again closes the door. Munoz solid with 3 outs and no funny stuff.

Just enough offense, and got it without extra innings. :)

When. I see Garver, Raley, and no Naylor I'm thinking we are just mailing it in. Boy was it close; Garver came through. Almost left Castillo in for too long. He had lost control. Who was this Kikuchi? He only lasted for 4 innings as a Mariner! Great game.

Where is that goldfinger poster? Guy was posting in this sub a ton during the slide, now he’s on the back of the milk carton….because we are atop the division, let’s go M’s!
Been posting plenty. Last time I checked, they still haven't won anything. Mark this down, they've spent so much energy trying to stay in contention, that actually winning this mediocre division is still more unlikely than likely. Go ahead & keep pretending they aren't abysmal on the road or that their starters failing to even finish FIVE lousy innings on the regular hasn't been a problem.

Of course there's reason for skepticism with this bi-polar team. But we have the longest current winning streak in the league now, are tied for first in the division with 14 games left to play, in a division we haven't won in 24 years. At least we have that. That's something.

I've gotta think that the Astros' and Rangers' injury situation catches up with them eventually. Whether we have what it takes to keep up against the likes of Toronto is another question, but I can see winning the division now.

Yeah and what was up with that Astros pitcher throwing it at the catcher and hitting him intentionally…gotta be weird for the clubhouse you’d think

If that was intentional, pretty crazy how a person can throw the ball with such power and control that not even the catcher can catch it. I guess that's why he's an MLB pitcher.

He rushed the pitch off cycle, threw when the catchers glove was down…it was intentional
