I know it's only game 1, but losing that game, that way, is just devastating. If you can't find a way to get a win with a 4 run lead in the 8th, any chance of winning the series is probably out the window.

Also, why does Servais refuse to use Swanson? Did he forget this guy was arguably our best bullpen arm all season?

Let the second guessing begin. 🤷‍♂️

Probably should have IBBed Alvarez and let Sewald pitch to Bregman. Or bring in Swanson.

As a non-baseball fan in general, and a self-admitted bandwagon M's fan, I was livid watching the end of the game, knowing what was coming and when it came, I turned off the TV in disgust. I can't even fathom how an actual diehard M's fan feels.

I thought if we could steal a game it would be today against Verlander. Now that Asshole Ray got poked the series may be over

The Astros are the best team in the AL, and quite frankly, there's still a sizable gap between the M's and Astros. It was always going to be tough.

Scott blew it, too many moves per usual.

It was up to Sewald to close out the game. He didn't get the job done. Now, for the life of me, I can't even begin to imagine why Servais thought Ray was the best option there, but he had to make a change at that point, imo.

SS did exactly what Schneider for the blue Jays did. Pulled his starter too early. Keep Logan in there for a few more outs there's no need for Ray. If the "bomberos" lose it, you live with that.

Doubt Ray throws another pitch until 2023.
