The Astros are the best team in the AL, and quite frankly, there's still a sizable gap between the M's and Astros. It was always going to be tough.

It was up to Sewald to close out the game. He didn't get the job done. Now, for the life of me, I can't even begin to imagine why Servais thought Ray was the best option there, but he had to make a change at that point, imo.

That decision to bring in Ray who had given up home runs in the second game to the Jays was a monumental F up. BRING THE DAMN CLOSER YOU MORON!!! omg that one stupid decision could now lead to the Mariners not getting past the Astros. The Astros have the M's number and the M's could have been...

SS did exactly what Schneider for the blue Jays did. Pulled his starter too early. Keep Logan in there for a few more outs there's no need for Ray. If the "bomberos" lose it, you live with that.
