AL West is suddenly an interesting and perhaps unpredictable division this season -- no longer another Astros gimmie. Hopefully anyway, being that there's still around 126 games to play. About friggin' time. Totally up in the air as to which team might win the division, except, Angels appear least likely of the five.

This is an absolute blast.

To go from 3-7 to 22-14? Minus 2 of your best pitchers, losing Robles, Bliss and Raley? Damn.

Yeah, right now it looks like the Mariner's and the Athletics are dominating. Tough to tell at the beginning of May, though. We've had the injury bug early, hopefully that turns around and we get some guys back before mid-season so we can carry on the good work they've been putting in.

An important homestand coming against the AL East BJ's and Yanks. Blue Jays may not be scary, but the Yankees always are these days.
